This would be a car crash and who would want to taint his legacy?

The car's already crashed and is on fire 🔥

So you’re saying we have nothing to lose? I guess he MAY be able to bring the entire club together, but it’s a hell of a risk.

Not as big a risk as we have just taken keeping the fraud in charge until 10 games to go.

I don't have an issue with this. We are already screwed and the blame if we go down sits with Rodgers. It wouldn't taint his legacy in my eyes.

We want to try and stay up though and football has passed O'Neill by now (as sad as that is).

wtf, the mans a LCFC legend, if anyone is going to motivate these dross players its him. remind them all what the club stands for. The thought of seeing him run down the line jumping when we score will be a nostagic visual OF PURE JOY.

Exactly what I am saying.  At least as a fan base, we have an affiliation with MON which would at least lift the spirits in the stands and he is a differing voice in the dressing room.

Much rather see him lead us out than a Rafa, Big Sam, or Dean Smith.  What more could they do in 9 games that MON couldn't?

The hell of a risk we have already taken by keeping Rogers in a job that he has been stale in for 2 seasons.  Leaving it till 10 games to go has put us in the last chance saloon.

As opposed to staying where we are and staring relegation in the face? Baffling logic...

According to who?  You speak like he has dementia or something.  If a 96 year old Roy Hodgson can get a tune out of Palace, then the great MON can for 9 games to save us too.

If he doesn't we were already down under Rogers anyway.

Hasn't managed since he left Forest in 2019. 4 years ago. They finished 9th and when he took the job they were 9th.

Prior to that his last club job was in 2013 at Sunderland. A decade ago. He won 3 points out of his last possible 24.

edit: Also I will add that we are 2 points from safety, not 20. If we go down the excuse "we were already down" isn't good enough. Our priority is to stay up.

I was going to go off on one about how his managerial style is a carbon copy of Clough's, and is rooted in the 60s/70s. How it's a very specific way of managing, highly outdated and unlikely to work within the modern game.

But then again, sod it. Gerrimin.

We're yet to see if Roy actually can get a tune out of Palace, just because they beat us doesn't mean much lol - but either way, Roy never really left football management.

Thank god the club won't actually be thinking MON is a viable option, just people on Foxestalk.

That would be an absolute car crash. Anyone wanting this needs to log off, drive up to the KP, knock on the door and hand in their season ticket.

I did that last night

Roy has managed in the premier league extensively over the last 10 years and been England Manager. O’Neil hasn’t managed in the top flight in over 10 years now

Whether it's Martin O'neill or not i am more concerned that they're considering Stowell and Sadler until the end of the season!

Whoever it is will get 8 games. You can’t really over haul style of play and tactics too much in that time.

We need a motivator to bash some heads together with this lot.

Who knows, it might just work.

Could be one of the worse things the club has done in recent times, but you just never know, if it works then MON would be the legend of legends, on the other hand, if it goes south then he will be less fondly remembered!

He also consistently failed without Robertson and Walford.
