marcymarc666 Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Get him in just so that we can sing his name again to 'Go West'.Thought that was gone forever ! 1
Gamble92 Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 I think it's exactly what we need. I'm more baffled by people citing Sadler and Stowell as top coaches who know what theyre doing. I don't doubt they're good coaches, but last night shown we need more. O'Neill and Lennon combo till end of the season. LETS ****ING DO THIS
Vazman Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Gerrrrriminnn a bit of MON management will keep us up, S&S have been Rodgered along with everyone else, I hadnt realised until last nights match how far and wide the Rodgered effect had taken hold. 2
Fox 4 Life Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 These players need reminding who Leicester City are, we've lost our identity and the players are mainly in it for the money. MON knows and loves this club, I thought it was a ridiculous idea but what we really need is togetherness and someone to remind these clowns what we are about as a club and city.
lcfcben76 Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Hasn’t Roy Keane followed MON in his past few jobs? O’Neill and Keane on the touch line. I’m all in. 2
OntarioFox Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Yeah sod it, gerrimin. Dunno why going down would tarnish his legacy. It's not his fault we're in this state. 2
Blue-fox Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 The more I think about it, the more excited I get. Will be fuming when it’s actually Benitez 1
Stevosevic Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Just now, Tuna said: We'd be a laughing stock of we did this. We already are. 4
iancognito Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 He said a couple of days ago he wasn't interested, said he couldn't see any way the club would approach him. O'Neill minus Roberson and Walford just doesn't work. Don't tarnish the legacy FFS. 1

Towelie Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Can no one remember MON not getting a win in his first 9/10 games and people calling for him to be sacked already?
Conscript Fox Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 You lot did see him get run out of the Ireland Stoke Forest Jobs as clearly a guy who's time had passed him by right ? Who had gotten left behind and had only arrogance in interviews left ? Did any of you absolute muppets notice that three in a row lads ? He's as relevant as Howard Wilkinson / George Graham or Alex Ferguson. Your time passes not matter how good you were and that's that. Nobody is special. There are some clowns on here who deserve a relegation and probably two. They know f u c k all 1

Hodgson isn’t a bad manager and has been active in the PL for the last decade. He’s rejoined a club he left less than 2 years ago. O’Neill’s last job was 3 years ago and he got sacked from Forest in the Championship. And before that it was a decade ago when he got sacked at Sunderland.

Popular Post RumbleFox Posted 5 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 5 April 2023 (edited) It’s such a stupid idea. Like ridiculous. He’s not managed in ages, he’s too old and he’s not exactly been great in any of his recent jobs. But despite all of that. Fvck. Fvck. The thought of it. I’m totally, totally all in for it. He’s a legend. I can’t believe that being able to remember O’Neill makes you one of the older fans these days, that’s scary. But fvck if it wasn’t the best time ever. Big massive lumps at centre back scoring 10 goals a season each. A midfield trio as good as any in the league. The sweetest left foot in the world. An own goal magnet at RCB who we still loved. Top ten finishes. Two league cups. A team of misfits. Goalposts for jumpers. Shinning it in. Keeper substitution strokes of genius. “Martin, Martin O’Neill” to the tune of Go West. Annoying Spurs. A Greek Adonis. Juninho in our pockets. An overweight, mulleted, 20 fags a day nobsack second choice striker who somehow was the greatest finisher on earth if only he could get to the ball. Wenger not being able to handle us. Steve. Fvcking. Walsh. O’Neill interviews like a fvcking work of art, looking down at the floor, somehow appearing simultaneously awkward and nervous but also genuinely insane and threatening. Elliott turning prime Cruyff and turning Desailly on a sixpence. Izzet scoring the greatest overhead kick ever. Fvck. Fvck. Let’s do this. Come on people. Fvck. I’m digging out my shitty, “the sponsor is far too big and foamy” 99/00 home kit. We’re doing this. I don’t care if it’s a fvcking cvnt of a stupid idea, if it works we’ll remember it forever. What is football for if not for dreams? What’s the point of it’s not a little magic? Fvck. Fvck. This is on. Edited 5 April 2023 by RumbleFox 4 7 5
Pliskin Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 I mean we’re a ****ing step away from being a circus anyway….. so why ****ing not…. 1
zdx Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 We need an interim who the players will know and quickly connect with. MON is a legend - always will be - with Leicester fans, but will any of the foreign players even know who he is? Even the Leicester lads in our squad were babies when he was in charge, Luke Thomas was actually born after he left in 2000! For most of them, it's just gonna be a random guy turn up to Seagrave, who they've never heard of and never seen manage. It isn't what we need with nine cup finals coming up.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Would be a nice symmetry to MON coming back to manage us in the stadium he effectively built. 1
Strokes Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 What could go wrong? We are already down, it needs a miracle and who better to perform it than Jesus himself. Bring back the messiah 😁 2
Guest nathan. Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Is MON even under consideration? Why is this a separate thread?
CosbehFox Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Think some folk are clutching if the players will know who O’Neill is. None of the foreign guys will. Barnes for example was 2 when we won the League Cup in 2000.
MPH Posted 5 April 2023 Posted 5 April 2023 Look, we’re desperate. If the players can’t get up for the fight then the fans need to do it for them and this would get the fans up for it. short term, 9-10 games. He can’t take us down as we are already down. He might be able to galvanize us though… we have nothing to lose and not a single thing would tarnish MON’s reputation for me. He’s already played for and managed Nottingham Forest and I still love him! 3
