We started the week thinking this is the big chance to get some points to give us a chance. 3 very winnable matches. To finish on nil points with 3 shockingly bad performances is just disastrous. Just Wtf has happened to our club? I'm worried that we are the new Sunderland.

In a relegation battle we were always going to be relegated due to the lack of strong mentality in

the players. We are so easy to play against , we have not ‘scraped’ any wins at all

this season, At no time have we dug in to get a draw or a late win. Mentality is appalling, that comes from the culture within the entire football club. The positive in me hopes this will lead to a reset at all levels.  Big fear is if the the desire to get back into the premier league from King Power

is not there we will just drift like Stoke , West Brom and Birmingham. Feel bad for talking like we already down but after yesterday there are zero grounds for hope.

It certainly looked like our players didn’t do as much running. Anyone got any statistics that disprove this?

Some points of the match, you saw players just standing, watching, Soumare and Barnes did this, also the continuing lack of movement and desire was painful to watch, Brendan coached them well:thumbup:

Poor babies are lacking confidence so run less.

Pathetic

We were this bad last season we just had Vardy and individual performances to bail us out.

Id argue the last time we were consistently good as a team was October 2019

I don't think there is that team spirit, Saddler said the players need to unite so is there unrest in the dressing room between certain players?

Probably was watching the Avengers and thought that was a good soundbite for an interview :D

Vardy scoring 20 a season was a big reason we survived in this league for so many years.

We just never replaced him with a striker of his level. At his peak he was one of the world's best strikers

The players have simply given up.

I think it is more a case of lack of real leadership, they look completely clueless and at times a shambles.

I don’t think VK gets on with everyone

they don’t pass to him when he’s the only option

Noticed this a few times yesterday having said that if they have seen his shooting in training it’s hardly surprising.
he’s probably turned up with an attitude of I’m here to get picked and put everything in. Which most of them don’t have

I don’t think they’ve given up, it’s more a lack of confidence. Players don’t want the ball and when they look up to try and get us up the pitch they see a 36 year old who is a statue. He gave us nothing yesterday. Our failure to replace him over the last few years is one of the main reasons we are where we are.

Possible that a few are upset that he's taken Luke Thomas' place in the side, if you believe in the rumours of the various cliques in the dressing room. He's considerably better than LT though

This is definitely happening noticed it a number of times yesterday especially with Maddison there was an easy ball out to VK but Maddison turned inside into trouble. There's definitely a split in the camp

You can't press with conviction when you have no confidence in you team mates or the structure of the team behind you.

Pressing has to be organised and done as a team which take training and practice.

You also have to be fit as a team, considering we have been blowing out of our arsed from 60 minutes on in most games we simple aren't fit enough.

I think Evans is a big miss. Provided leadership.

That's the biggest issue this week was a massive week for our chances and the club stuff it up.

Either sack Rodgers in the international break and give the new man a week to prepare or keep him for the 3 games.

Not convinced we would have for 0 points with him in charge.

Exactly this, cant be arsed, cant do the basics properly, too much time off, no one accountable on or off the pitch an unfit lazy persona, not fit to wear our teams beloved badge, its soul destroying to watch.  These players are capable and need a kick up the arse quick, any in house squabbling, dealt with quickly, they need to regroup and remember they're supposed to be pros.

I've been letting these players off the hook for far too long. Absolute shitbags.

A lot of people have and I’ve been hammering them for months. They piss me off and have done for most of the season.
