grumpyoldfox Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 What if Top wakes up one day and decides he's had enough and flogs the club. I would personally not blame him given the vitriol and venom launched at him over the current situation, particularly on FT. Who would you prefer to see owning the club? Looking at the range of ownerships around the PL I personally think we have a pretty good ownership, and any change would not necessarily be for the better. Maybe Jim Whats-his-name could change his mind and go for us rather than Man U. 1
Popular Post Fox92 Posted 10 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 10 April 2023 You wouldn’t blame him? His lack of action has got us into this position. 10
Popular Post SemperEadem Posted 10 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 10 April 2023 (edited) A few comments on FT is absolute small fry to mostly young person led anti Gov and their cronies protests he has faced and may face again in Thailand. Edited 10 April 2023 by SemperEadem 5
yorkie1999 Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Main problem with that is, who would actually buy it?
StanSP Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Someone who's absolutely mega rich. Everyone else has done it. Why not join the circus.

Seeing as American investors got involved at the likes of Burnley and Bournemouth and Palace, I'd suggest there's a likely demand to own a world famous 'underdog' that's recently won trophies, played in Europe, had superstar players and has planning permission for expansion... We wouldn't struggle to attract a buyer imo Edited 10 April 2023 by Paninistickers 1

Majority of what I see is questioning of decisions and pointing out that the club is being run poorly compared to Vichai. Where they are posts that are using insulting language, I think that’s more down to peoples frustration and needing an outlet to vent than anyone having a personal issue with the man. Do you really think he’s fussed about a few posts out of frustration on Foxestalk? 1

Daggers Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 I would like Elon Musk. He's thick and vain enough to believe this would be a good idea. Someone twitter him. 3
fazzyfox Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Doesn’t read FT? Then who the f*** does everyone think valued contributor Topfox is then? Accurate Line up news from “Seanfromenderby”? Pah, it’s Top, one in the same. The Cheese guy who claimed to have had his inflatable dinosaur stolen? A Singha beer fuelled prank by Top. Those 2 am arguments about pie prices? Top. On it? He’s all over it 24/7. 1
MattFox Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Bloke could burn the stadium down and people here would defend him 2

Voll Blau Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 You seriously think a fvcking billionaire would care about a few pissy comments on a football forum? He's not beyond being held accountable. No-one who has a role in presiding over what we're seeing unfold right now at our club should be.
Mr.Bingles Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 I’d be surprised if he isn’t already thinking about selling up. I bet this whole debacle is a complete ball ache he doesn’t need. It feels like he is in over his head. If I were him I’d either sell up.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 (edited) He's gotten off very lightly, he wants to be thankful most of our fans are absolute wet lettuces when it comes to the boards crap decision making. Edited 10 April 2023 by Leicester_Loyal 2 1
adejo92 Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 It's been a blast, but I'd rather him sell. He's slowly but surely stripped the club of everything. We are nearing a laughing stock of a club. Not just because of our fall from grace, but everything. Shame really.

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 Has he lost interest? He’s not been around much this season, and I question whether he has the stomach or fight for what lays ahead, regardless of what league we’re in next season.
Guesty Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 He won't want to sell in the Championship. The club will lose too much value. When Newcastle got relegated Ashley spent money to get them back up.
Daggers Posted 10 April 2023 Posted 10 April 2023 "Myanmar has long suffered from instability, factional violence, corruption, poor infrastructure, as well as a long history of colonial exploitation with little regard to human development." Tell me that doesn't remind you of a certain football club. Us being run by Myanmar's military junta would be a match made in heaven.
