What a result! Soyuncu absolutely outstanding at the back. Shocking that him and Iversen were frozen out by Rodgers.

 

Excellent performance from Soumare too.

We have been calling for him to start for a while, not sure what went off, because for him to not get a chance when we were so bad at the back is odd.

Some of soumares footwork wtf ??? Where did that come from ??? Happy it did !!! Team showed some grit at last, and soumare and cags brilliant. If we can cut out the mistakes and finish more clinically we can do it

It really hasn't sunk in that we managed to pull through that. Seeing Soumaré and Vardy go up a level to get us through it brings a tear to my eye.

 

Cags was excellent. I have to hold my hands up about him, he's another player that Rodgers ruined purely by pissing him off.

Brilliant atmosphere inside, especially as we were winning. Felt like we helped them get over the line, even though they were all dead on their feet! 

 

Soyuncu was an absolute rock. A machine. Put himself about everywhere. Totally dominant.

Our team thrive on confidence and without it, we are terrible. Maybe he will grow and grow now the goblin is gone.

I honestly believe if iverson and cags had played from the start of the season we would not be in this mess....or is it the beer 🤔

Soumare/Cags outstanding. See what happens when tippy tappy at the back is ditched. Good old fashioned defending. Iverson should have started the season as number 1. Br should be arrested for keeping Ward in goal, what the hell did Cags do to get dropped????

 

For the first time in months, we have smiles on our face and well doner to those who went to the game and made such a noise. Brilliant day. Doughnuts at work on Monday.
