So despite a useless ref and put 2 main goal threats out we still managed to win. Just goes to show when you put the note book away and see what's in front of you it's actually possible to win. Still lots to do but it's now in our hands at least. It's the hope that kills you!

Soy and Soumare immense today, although I think everyone played their part, even Daka playing smart and going down with cramp to disrupt the momentum they were building

I think that was actually him trying to shoot

A change at half time was refreshing.

The football for the second goal was fantastic, really really good control for most of the second half aswell. Gives them confidence for Tuesday, more of the same and open a gap.

The reaction from staff and players at the final whistle was heartening. They looked like they were genuinely delighted.

It’s been shown time and time again that the ‘they don’t care’ accusations are wide of the mark. People conflate a lack of belief with a lack of care.

Feel this win will do wonders on that front.

Goes to show how poor Rodgers has been with his coaching.

He coached Soumare into a player devoid of fight and confidence.

He banished Soyuncu.

These two were worldclass today.

Probably not world class. But they were both very good and contributed to a much needed win. Nice to see us battling, working hard and not letting our heads drop after going a goal down. No question that we deserved to win, even with Andy “star of the show” Madley doing his best to prevent that. Let’s enjoy this and build on it Tuesday.

Don’t forget his stubbornness in continuing to play Ward aswell.

1000x better than the utter shite served up under BR. First time we've looked like we set out to win in so so long. See what happens when we have that attacking intent. Soumare was very good to be fair to him.

Special mention to Soyuncu who was by far the best man on the pitch. Just confirms for us all what a massive **** Brendan Rodgers is.

'Just confirms for us all what a massive **** Brendan Rodgers is'.  Never a truer sentence ever written.
