Popular Post Mick_1960 Posted 1 May 2023 Popular Post Posted 1 May 2023 Good Luck lads, you have more than enough to beat these and as a Newcastle fan, I hope that you do win because it probably relegates them along with Southampton and more than likely Leeds who probably will not get another point this season. Stick with your team even if you go behind, which is unlikely becuase Dyche doesn't seem able to get a tune out of them. Get the first goal and they'll fold like a pack of cards. Calvert-Lewin is their only real threat and even he isn't that good because of the really poor service that they give him. Their defence is really really bad and are easy to get at, the only thing they can do is follow through on tackles to try and either injure or upset your players. Maddison, Iheanacho and Vardy will rip them apart if they're all fit and playing. 5
HybridFox Posted 1 May 2023 Posted 1 May 2023 Their lot will be doing that Everton woooo wooo song again won't they

Bob Lee on the bench to come on. Sounds like my first side was just a little bit after this side 🙂. 1
hejammy Posted 1 May 2023 Posted 1 May 2023 Have we talked about Gray scoring the inevitable worldy against us and running off to kiss the Everton badge in front of the kop? Yeah woken up to that nightmare!
Twitcher Posted 1 May 2023 Posted 1 May 2023 Match day! Let the countdown begin. 3,4,1,2 Iversen Souttar Faes Soyoncu Castagne Tielemans Mendy Thomas Maddison Barnes Vardy The more I think about it we need three centre-backs to counter Tarkowski, Keane, and Calvert-Lewin. I'm just concerned my midfield could get overrun. Ideally, I'd want a tough tackling ball winner in there, but one that has pace. Sadly we don't have one. If this side went two up, I'd probably take Tielemans off, and put Soumare or Praet on, probably Praet. Fresh legs of Daka later on. We as fans can't show any nerves tonight. We can't let nerves emanate from the stands. Both fans and players on it from the get go. Just somehow need to kill the hours between now and 8pm. Come on 👊.

Lcfc-1992 Posted 1 May 2023 Posted 1 May 2023 After the marking against Leeds for that Bamford chance I’m dreading the thought of them getting corners
Jon the Hat Posted 1 May 2023 Posted 1 May 2023 I am not going to sleep well tonight. Kick off 2.45am for me!

foxinsox Posted 1 May 2023 Posted 1 May 2023 I don't think Smith likes 3 at the back, nor is a great Souter fan. Iverson Castagne Faes Soyoncu Kristiansen Tielemans Soumare Tete/Praet Maddison Barnes Vardy A draw is no good for either team. We need to be clinical with our finishing.
ScrumpyJack Posted 1 May 2023 Posted 1 May 2023 Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, here we go - the latest must-win match of the season! 1
