Fair play to the tailenders here. 

Not only frustrating Aus when they'd expect to clean up, but every little run helps. 

272 lead so far. Let it creep up to about 285-290 and it's an intriguing score to set.

281 to win. I don't think they'll go hard at it. 3 or so wickets with the new ball this evening. Sets it up. Get Khawaja, Warner and Smith and I'll be a happy chappy.

IF we lose, think 3 things will have contributed, the declaration, all fair and well and say live by the sword die by it, well sometimes you can be too clever.

And sadly they both had a very good test but both Root and Brooks dismissal 2nd innings, IF they had held back till we had a comfortable lead.......

Sometimes its actually about getting the job done, top scorer 46 in the 2nd innings, thats when you lose test especially when the surface/weather isn't doing loads.

I so hope I'm wrong as hopefully the only Aussie 4th innings collapse comes into play.

Going to be some finish.

Agreed. The declaration looks increasingly poor
