Do we still have loans taken out against future tv payments?

Yes and the parachute payments are the security. Cash flow is going to be very very tight for the foreseeable future.

This is what happens when the club is heavily mismanaged and the board think we are too good to go down.

We'll get decent attendances relative to the Championship but would be lucky to hit 25K. That coupled with lower ticket prices generally will mean a reduction in what we can bring in

There will be the usual blood letting of hard working support and backroom staff no doubt to fund salary increase and performance!!! bonuses for Whelan, Rudkin et al.

The existing loans against guaranteed TV revenue are covered by this seasons EPL TV money that we recieve at the end of the season.

Barnes and Maddison will bring in £80m, shouldn't be too bad

Problem is though any club we want to buy from will be demanding silly money for their players and we need about a dozen. That money won't last long! We're going to need to be shrewd in the loan market too.

Kieran Macguire recently said our wages to turnover ratio was 85% in the EPL and average player is on 87k a week so the challenge is reshaping the squad with reduced commercial revenues and having already used loans linked to future transfer / broadcast income receivables

Apparently you don't get that if you get straight back up I read recently?

With the parachute payments, next season we will get 55% of the TV revenue that we would've got if we were still in the EPL. Thats a significant hit on our primary source of revenue

That would be helpful but I don’t think we’ll be coming straight back up. Too much needs doing and I highly doubt the club has planned for a stint in the Championship.

Would assume FBS are going to be pretty cheesed off that their big money sponsorship deal will now be in the championship... wonder if they have a break clause.

With Mark Robins in charge - if Cov trip up in the PO's

I'm amazed at what Robins has done. But he seems a bit like Pearson with us, where I wonder if he could replicate it elsewhere.

Quite possible or commercial terms are linked to the league we are in

Oh I agree just clarifying the situation.

Top has destroyed our future

Very harsh I'm afraid with what he has done for the club over the last 10 years. Get a grip. Players not giving a shite doesn't help!
