Any idea who the assistant would be and if would get any other coaches? Or just putting it out there, could/would Shakespeare stay on as first team coach as he knows the championship at least.

Parker would've been depressing. Everything about him screams provincial English cub in the Championship. Which we are, but Maresca is like the younger girlfriend that still makes us feel special and successful.

FFS guys were making some progress at last! I really was fearing the worst with the clock ticking. Like others have said of course it’s a risk and a gamble but IF it pays off the long term who knows what our trajectory will be. Don’t get me wrong I’m still vexxed the execs sent us down but maybe this was meant to be in a strange magical mystery tour kinda way that is such a typical part of our clubs dna. We don’t do things the easy way but we sure can provide the most amazing suprises. Finally feeling a little hopeful. Now let’s see what players we can get to re-build this team.

Viktor Johansson? but years ago, left permanently. Can't think of any others we've loaned out recently

No form? The team he coaches just won the treble?? 

 

We're all allowed our opinions and of course it is a gamble, like any appointment, but this is the fresh start the club needs.
