Wide open title race this season. Mcginn reminds me abit of Drinkwater in his prime, a real beast physically battling in the engine, quick balls over the top.

Hard to believe Villa were slumming it a year ago with Stevie G in charge

You go Villa. What a job by Emery. They shit housed that win against Arsenal though, but shithouse or not, thats 6 points gained on Arsenal. I am impressed.

Some of the  big boys are proper competing this season though, so really can't see them go all the way, but top 4 is definitely on.

Loving the Man Utd melt down. Such a beauty.

Are they?

Chelsea could be in serious trouble after spending £1bn in under 2yrs and don’t even look like making the Euro conf comp.

Man U are becoming a laughing stock

Spurs are being Spurs

Newcastle look like they had their season last season

Arsenal going well but have a bit of Spurs in them

Man C worst we have seen them play for years now

Only Liverpool are showing some consistency but still far from what we have seen from them previously

The points for the top positions are slightly down from previous seasons, Villa are being this seasons Newcastle and Brighton the season before last, and fair play to them, but remember they have spent some wedge themselves recently so should be pushing.

The fight for the top spot is still out of reach for these clubs but now as you mention 4th spot is within grasp, the deep squads of the “normal top” generally see them pick up from January onwards as injuries, suspension etc take their toll on the challengers.

Long way still to go, we have West Ham, a team that diced with relegation and wanting Moyes sacked, above Chelsea and 3pts from 5th, the so called “top teams” are no longer guaranteed 1-6 anymore, well not until the rules are tweaked again to shut the rest from catching them up :S

My guess would be because they scored after the 'stoppage' time? Not sure if they did or not.

I think there was about 20 seconds left

Is the Chelsea ownership trying to sabotage the club? I can't think of any other reason behind what's going on there.

Presume Frank Lampard back for the new year?

John Terry would be a better option or Rodgers to finish them off completely
