FoxinNotts Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Winning any league is classed as a major honour/trophy. Why would anyone not see this as the main ambition this season?🤷🏻♂️ 3

Nalis Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Cant wait for Leeds to follow up this statement win with a limp defeat at Preston on Boxing day. 1
Jakemoore Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 It’s a good thing Leeds will just randomly lose to a Huddersfield or QPR because if they played like this 90% of the time we would have to really worry about them!

Leeds dropping points would be beneficial to us. Let's secure top 2 and worry about coming first afterwards. Winning the league has literally no extra benefits over coming second. I don't understand this attitude. It literally wins us silverware and a record eighth second tier title. 4

Nobody remembers or cares where you finish, as long as you reach the Premier League.
Clever Fox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 What a calamity of errors for the 4th goal. Defending non exsistant. 1 1
brookfox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 I mean it probably was anyway, but game over!
Tuna Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 If we score early at Portman Road, their heads will drop
ARTY_FOX Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 So should be going into boxing day looking to maintain a 13 point gap on Leeds and extend to a 9 point gap on Ipswich. This is brilliant. 2
whetstonefox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Main goal is promotion, achieve that you then aim for the title. The way it’s going we are well on course to get both. If you’d offered 2nd in July you’d have taken it.

Why on Earth would that even need to be said, it’s the aim of every single team. The most important thing is to ensure we are promoted, not finish first or we stay in this league and try again.

If we came second, would we be playing in the same division next season as the team that won it? Thats all that matters.
Tommy Fresh Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich getting shown up playing a decent side actually competent going forward and not giving them gifts to score
Craig Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 This thread There are positives to each result today, none of which we can affect, and two of which now aren't going to happen. Chance to be 9 clear by the close of business on Boxing Day... 1
Jakemoore Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Battered and bruised Ipswich on Boxing Day then. We need to win today and then compound their misery!
