weller54 Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Cmon Ipswich!!.. Hard fought win, with 2 or 3 injuries and a knackering 90+ minutes!!

Guess todays game is probably a poor example to pick but barely changes the team That'll be their downfall this season. Our squad is just ridiculous and pretty much any 11 is a cut above most teams first 11 in this division.

Although when you actually look at their squad they don’t have much depth
Dahnsouff Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Worst result? Leeds destroy Ipswich maybe? Love this relaxed interest rather than butt clenching terror, but wouldn’t miss that either.

If we get back to the Prem I don't really give a shit if it's first or second. Look at Ipswich and Plymouth this year. Having a team stay with us for most of the year is probably good for us and character building for the squad. I'd rather that team be Ipswich than have dirty Leeds catch up. Plus they could be 16 points below us at the end of the day and that's almost certainly too much for them to recover unless we show relegation form. We've got quickfire games against Ipswich also to make our own gap there and I think we're much better equipped to beat them than Leeds. I mean a draw is fine. Leeds winning is fine. We're fine any which way. But I'd rather an Ipswich win. Edited 23 December 2023 by Finnegan 1
brookfox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Anyone know if Ipswich have rotated many? If I were their manager I’d rather get a result today than Boxing Day so just interested.
KingsX Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Surprised I'm finding myself pulling so hard for Ipswich, when I know a draw (2 points rather than 3) would be the optimal result. 1
Tuna Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 It seems conceding early goal really is Ipswich's achilles heel
TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 I've said it before and I'm not just saying this as Leeds have gone ahead but I really don't think Ipswich are as good as people make out. We beat them comfortably. 1

Chrysalis Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 (edited) Damn, all Leeds at the moment and taken the lead. They so dominant in their games right now. Ipswich are the comeback kings though. Edited 23 December 2023 by Chrysalis

Leicester_Loyal Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich are gonna be knackered on Boxing Day.

Ipswich 6 points (hopefully!) off the top and been done twice by Leeds and they might start to wobble. Bring me the 8th title. Correct. Not sure why people would rather Ipswich keep pushing us rather than building more of a gap to second given third will almost certainly stay the same 1
whoareyaaa Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Don't think its a bad thing Leeds winning we can push away from both if we win today and then beat Ipswich 1

Make it as big as possible. First and second carry the same reward. A Leeds win is the last thing we want. 1
