Nolucklcfc Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 I still don’t think Southampton will have quite enough but they’ll be full of confidence going into the play offs of form continues

Leicester_Loyal Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Saints have too many games in a short period of time, they'll drop points somewhere, a loss or a draw.
Popular Post Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 13 April 2024 Popular Post Posted 13 April 2024 We are very fortunate that no one wants to get into that stinky premier league. Championship is where it's at!!!! 2 3
Lad1966 Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Just don’t how to call this. It’s pointless trying to predict any results. It’s doing my head in if I being honest. How is it possible that the 3 teams who have gone head to head, winning against all in front of them, all of sudden none of us can’t buy a win. Totally bizarre 🫤
FrankieADZ Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Ipswich's next 2 games are away at Hull and Coventry, could be very interesting indeed

We've basically been done twice in a weak by teams that have had one chance and taken it. It's our attacking play that has fallen off a cliff. I see it as porous considering the last clean sheet was vs Sunderland, and that was only 1 of 2 in our last 13 league games (a 2 month period). Attacking play has fallen off a cliff, and the defence are becoming leaky, if not already. Or to put it another way, the last time we kept successive clean sheets was back in October, against Stoke and Preston. 1
teblin Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 I still think we will limp into the premier league. 4

Md9 Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Fingers crossed preston turn up to Southampton mid week and can get a point at least

Totally bizarre 🫤 I advise not agonising over the permutations particularly as we've been rubbish the last two matches. You can play the games over and over in your head and then reality will arrive soon enough. Just surprised our cock up last night was not fully punished today
Number 6 Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 (edited) Next time Ipswich play it could be Leicester 94 Leeds 93 Southampton 90 Ipswich 89 (Admittedly + games in hand on Leeds & Soton, and one on us) Edited 13 April 2024 by Number 6 I ****ed a lot of it up

But we are far from porous. We're conceding less than one goal per game on average. We have the second best goals against tally and xGA (behind Leeds). We've only conceded more than one goal on 7 occasions. 6 of our 10 defeats have been 1-0. We are definitely not porous. 1

And I presume the first half of the season is doing a lot of heavy lifting for that goals against tally!

whoareyaaa Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 (edited) Weve only taken 10 points from a possible 30 we should be promoted already, 3 wins is asking for a lot but the home advantage should be key plus I don't think it will be as tight and park the bus tactics which would suit us better Edited 13 April 2024 by whoareyaaa

Raj Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 We can predict all we want, we can assume all we want, all I know is it's going to be fecking horrible last 4 games and at the moment we have about as much form as Dakinbye In front of goal!

RowlattsFox Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 It's absolutely mad how shit we've all become. Southampton probably have too much to do, surely we all can't lose every game
