Who are you to tell someone what should and shouldn’t be important in their life? LCFC could very well be the thing that keeps them from thoughts of grief or other emotions. Could do much better than this post. No wonder there’s a mental health epidemic.

Well get a grip then, it's only football ffs!

at the end of the day, cut away all of the noise - it's just a simple game.

some win, some lose.

the vitriol and hate isn't needed at all. people are too obsessed with something that is out of their control.

enjoy football - it's just a ball on grass, points on a board. don't let it keep you up at night ffs.

the world has got many, many, many more devastating things going on that people are losing sleep over.

if football hurts that much, maybe it's time to explore some other avenues - find some hobbies that bring you some peace and relaxation - there's plenty out there.

I find the anger on here so tiring.

give your head a wobble bro ffs

some perspective

guy cant be happy with someone because your football club got relegated lol, come on.

world keeps turning. more to life than just this game, you know?

give me strength man some people need to get a grip

Personally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Bottom (thanks @Ric Flair for this brilliant new nickname) having a frolic on the lawn with his loved ones. We all need to recharge in our own ways. But my god guy, read the room. If you’re getting hurty messages hurled at you, do you really think it’s a great idea to post photos of you literally laying down on the job a day after you said there would be a review of what went wrong!? Maybe keep those to yourself until you’ve made changes, or even, one single change to the club. Because this just looks like you don’t give one single f***. It’s a bad look Bottom, I would expect more from the Chairman overseeing the worst relegation story in PL history.

it could well be - but people would do well to have multiple sources of relief from grief or other emotions because if you put all of your eggs into the football basket you're relying on something completely out of your control to help you deal with your problems. football unfortunately is unpredictable and has ups and downs, you've got to take the rough with the smooth. it's not the best source of relief from sadness if you take losing and relegation this hard.

Honest question to everyone moaning at the Top photo…. Have you cracked a smile since Sunday? Have you laughed at any point since Sunday? Because if you have, I’m sorry to say, you don’t care about this football club.

Please some of you put that into perspective because that’s how over the top some of these comments are.

I obviously wouldn't deny his right to enjoy life as he sees fit but it doesn't take a genius to realise that making a photo like that public, while people are still hurting and a fair few at LCFC will be worrying about their future employment, isn't a great idea?

Sorry but all the KP FC brigade saying “have you not smiled since Sunday”, “it’s only a football club”, “the guys allowed to live” etc, why don’t you give your heads a wobble? The man is in charge of business worth billions (including LCFC). If he truly meant what he said then he should be working on getting a new manager in, stripping out deadwood from the board and trying to keep his best players. I get it’s only a game and some win some lose, but If we’re this annoyed and frustrated with how Leicester was relegated and the manner in which it happened then how can this tool put out a public statement moaning about “online” abuse yet publicly allow photos like this to be uploaded? He has no idea how to steer this ship, which is why he’s left it to Rudkin.

Why does top think Susan and jon should do the review ?  Surely they are amongst those being assessed? Let's invite Matt Hancock to review the govs covid response.

Can't belive some of you lot are looking at Leeds enviously because their statement on relegation is slightly better worded than ours! Here's a list of what the 2 clubs ownerships have achieved.

King power

Promotion.

Premier league win.

FA cup.

3 European campaigns including qf of champions leauge.

9 consecutive seasons of premier league football.

Leeds united

A well written statement.

Firstly, why are people expecting a positive statement? we have just been relegated from being 8th and winning the FA Cup. The atmosphere seems genuinely toxic, it would be stupid of him to come out thinking all is rosey. He knows he didn't act swiftly enough.

I think hes being realistic, it is going to be tough, on paper it looks like one of the most difficult championships ive seen.

He has said he will reflect on the decisions and act, i trust he will and agree Rudkin needs a serious look at.

His statement reflects how we all feel, down. He cant promise an instant bounce back.

Lets judge him over the coming weeks.

All quiet at the KP, so obviously JR isn't being sacked. When are we likely to see some action on appointing a new manager and transfers in and out. Knowing this shambles the week before the new season starts.

Top needs to be proactive, the club feels soft hire a proven manager, hire a competent DOF, get the club back to it’s high standards off the pitch and on the pitch.

If rumours of a fractious relationship between Rudkin and Susan are true then Susan could well throw Rudkin under the bus.
