Supposedly this is the guy trying to buy Wigan .

Sounds rather dodgy .

How do you fail the fit and proper person test? Does he give lots of money to charity or something?

We’re delighted to announce the homecoming of academy graduate David McGoldrick, who has signed a two-year contract.

The 35-year-old returns to Meadow Lane having enjoyed a phenomenal 2022-23 campaign with Derby County, scoring 25 goals and being named Fans’ and Players’ Player of the Season as the Rams narrowly missed out on the Sky Bet League One play-offs.

Unsurprisingly, McGoldrick was offered the chance to stay at Pride Park but he has instead decided to fulfil his long-held ambition of returning to his boyhood club.

Fantastic signing! Didn't realise he did that well last season aswell.

Having Langstaff and McGoldrick should be guaranteed goals for you! Bet you’ll be a good watch!

Can see Notts challenging for the play-offs at least.

Think McGoldrick is potentially an excellent signing for them; hope he still has the legs for it.

Wow!   I went to Pride Park when a Derby supporting mate offered me a ticket.   McGoldrick ran the show that night in a ACM role,  he was highly rated by Derby fans.   A fantastic early door signing- a clear statement of intent.

Very sad to see Ruben Rodrigues leaving us, but all the very best to him at Oxford United.

51 goals in his 3 seasons here and that 51st being the biggest of them all.

One of the most talented and likeable players ever to put on a Notts shirt.

Exciting midfielder Dan Crowley has signed a two-year deal at Meadow Lane.

The 25-year-old Arsenal academy graduate joins us following his departure from Morecambe, for whom he was an impressive performer in League One last season.

It says he's "exciting", so I am excited!

Notts County Football Club have signed goalkeeper Adian Stone from Port Vale on a two-year deal.

Lets hope he has more movement than a stone.

Bit of a contrast in management.

From Sky.

“ Forest Green Rovers have named Hannah Dingley as their caretaker head coach following the exit of Duncan Ferguson, making her the first woman to take charge of a senior professional men's team in England.”
