We need to make another signing and fast for this forum's sanity.

Disappointing there is no option to buy

That is extremely disappointing… just developing the player for them. But I guess it’s yet another reality check for where we are.

Bit disappointed it's only a loan to be honest. I guess developing talent for the elite clubs is another Championship reality we have to get used to :dunno:

EDIT: Wow, literally the same post as @FoxesWalk lol

Just had a look and Burnley didn't get an option to buy when they loaned Harwood-Bellis from Man City last season either

Had a really good season with them and he is now available to buy permanently this summer (although he is also down to the last year of his contract, Doyle has until 2027)

Hopefully a permanent deal can be looked at next summer

Just because there is no option to buy doesn't mean we cant buy him.

If he does ok im sure a bid will go in.

or his got his sights set on the Man City first team, which is still good as he will be 100% committed, esp with Enzo here.

Good move this is.

Of course, but pre-agreeing a sale price and having a contractual option means he is ours if we want him. Burnley looking like missing our Taylor Harwood Bellis despite him excelling for them.

Somewhat disappointing really.

Suppose it's just improving the quality of a player they own and a reality check of our level these days.

That's quite disappointing actually given a lot of the talk was that it was going to be permanent.

He is obviously highly rated by Man City.

If we are promoted and he does well i can see us signing him with a buy back clause.

From the players perspective, you'd probably want to keep your options open. But if we do go up, then we'd hopefully be in pole position to make it permanent.
