StanSP Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 At this rate @LestaLad would be happy if @Ryy signed. 1

EnderbyFox Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 (edited) Bit disappointed it's only a loan to be honest. I guess developing talent for the elite clubs is another Championship reality we have to get used to EDIT: Wow, literally the same post as @FoxesWalk Edited 11 July 2023 by EnderbyFox 1
moore_94 Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 Just had a look and Burnley didn't get an option to buy when they loaned Harwood-Bellis from Man City last season either Had a really good season with them and he is now available to buy permanently this summer (although he is also down to the last year of his contract, Doyle has until 2027) Hopefully a permanent deal can be looked at next summer 3

FrankieADZ Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 on loan for the season aint too bad, i can imagine if its all going well come Jan the club will try and get something more permanent done 1
Guest nathan. Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 Just because there is no option to buy doesn't mean we cant buy him. If he does ok im sure a bid will go in.

Of course, but pre-agreeing a sale price and having a contractual option means he is ours if we want him. Burnley looking like missing our Taylor Harwood Bellis despite him excelling for them.
StanSP Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 Somewhat disappointing really. Suppose it's just improving the quality of a player they own and a reality check of our level these days.
Dan Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 That's quite disappointing actually given a lot of the talk was that it was going to be permanent.

If we are promoted and he does well i can see us signing him with a buy back clause.
CosbehFox Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 Yeah, hardly gets you excited. Must admit and may be overly critical. Simply not getting the vibe of a proper rebuild. Just meh. 1
moore_94 Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 Worth it even just on loan because you know Cov fans will be crying about it 1 1

StonyFox Posted 11 July 2023 Posted 11 July 2023 From the players perspective, you'd probably want to keep your options open. But if we do go up, then we'd hopefully be in pole position to make it permanent. 1
