LCFC TV is being relaunched this season as Fox Play. Details of access and (presumably) how to subscribe to all the stuff, including Live Broadcasts, "will be confirmed soon", they say.

We won't be on EFL's iFollow service.

Just hope International Fans are not excluded from whatever they propose re: live games. If not it will be IPTV searching:dunno: and lose out on some revenue.

Noticed this over the weekend. Surely it’s our way of broadcasting games. Will be tough as a US based fox going from every minute televised to only those on ESPN. Wonder when we’ll hear more.

You'll be the same as any other EFL club with what you can and can't broadcast.

You'll still get the EFL live feed (from 4 cameras with replays), but you're just not using the EFL Digital iFollow service as a means of streaming them.

So Fox Play will have the live match feed provided by the EFL for oversea's fans and audio only commentary for UK fans.

LCFC will have to provide their own commentary in house for both the video and audio only streams or do a deal with BBC Leicester to use theirs.

So if I understand this correctly it should still be available on iptv which I believe shows all championship matches?

Can anyone confirm this.

(I'm doing a dissertation on it or something, obviously wouldn't partake)

I believe the EFL fix the price regardless of what service is being used.

If you are in the UK and LCFC are allowed to broadcast video feed of the match i.e. not 3pm on a Saturday and not on Sky, then it'll cost £10 per match.

UK only audio pass for the season is £45.

Overseas live video option for all 46 league games is around £140.

Also if you are selected for oversea's broadcast (which will happen a lot) then all oversea's fans in the territories it is being broadcast will have a blackout on Fox Play and they'll have to watch it on whatever broadcaster has the rights in their country (or find a dodgy stream).

Based on the current way the club is managed, this will be crazy expensive and barely work.

Pre-season streams from recent years hardly fill you with confidence do they?

That said IMO rather than being forced to pay for BT / Sky Sports, I would be much happier paying a subscription specifically to my club to watch our games only. Netflix for Football as everyone likes to call it.

Just got IPTV to watch the games, hopefully can still find them..

if your subscription or box relies on an App based in Europe,  it might not be visible for long.  They are being shut down on a regular basis.  China/Taiwan and Hong Kong Apps ( I am told by others) tend to hang around longer…….

I'd be up for this, depending on the price of course.

I don't know much about the broadcast rights situation in the Championship, but they seem much more flexible.

Assume they will utilise the feed from the cameras already at the grounds capturing the action and the club will do the presentation stuff in-house. Not expecting too much production value TBH.

Fvck knows where they found the presenter. Some random northern bloke.

As i understand it... for example BEIN sports in Australia say they show every championship game... so IPTV should cover you

Remember the last time we were in the championship they used to upload the full game from the Day/night before

Can imagine the coverage would be pretty much the same

For a decent price it would be great

So will LCFC TV show all the championship games? Not just audio, I mean live TV.

If not, how can I watch all of them without being ripped off by BT or Sky Sports?

Yes. I don't see much risk in being able to watch all our league and cup games on the go next season (including EFL trophy as that'll be covered by the opponents' ifollow contract)
