So will LCFC TV show all the championship games? Not just audio, I mean live TV.

If not, how can I watch all of them without being ripped off by BT or Sky Sports?

It'll show all live games apart from those chosen by Sky Sports.

Ok, how/when do we find out which ones sky choose?

Not sure if it's worth giving this IPTV a go, never heard of it before.

Same as we normally do, they chose games a month or so in advance.

I believe the EFL fix the price regardless of what service is being used.

Overseas live video option for all 46 league games is around £140.

So for us stateside, about twice the price it was for 9 months of Peacock.  Which included all 380 Premier League matches, most live.

I knew this would be painful.  Still better than being in the UK I guess.

ESPN+ will probably show us a couple times a month.

In my view I’d rather my money goes to the club than some shit service talking about the top seven for 99% of the coverage

If you’re based in the uk, no. You won’t be able to watch all our games live and officially.

Seems strange to me as a UK based fan. Surely they'd make every home game watchable on LCFC TV for a fair price and get some revenue.

Hopefully I can watch a decent amount..

I'm assuming Fox Play will be available to fans as real tickets are...

...namely 500 or so elderly people with the highest priority points are able to watch 88mins undisturbed, the remaining fans base have a 2 minute window and ID must be provided. General viewing NOT allowed, in case the style of sofa disgraces the club's family image somehow

Pretty much the whole of the Championship is on follow so worst case scenario you will be able to watch all the games with the other teams commentary team.

I was thinking this, I'm sure someone on here said 3 teams in the championship would not showing the games on the ifollow, I was listening to an interview with the Ipswich chairman who said they were the most watched team on ifollow last season despite being in league one and would be using their own platform and I would guess the other one is Leeds.

It’s not an lcfc decision, it’s the law. You can’t screen games between 14.45 - 17.15 on a Saturday. Other than that sky have paid a packet to have rights to championship matches, you can watch our selected matches there

Should come with a trigger warning

Memories of 2013 "Foxesplayer"... Sitting in the dark in the middle of the night while the "player" failed yet again (it was just audio then)... or it started, gave me the first 30 seconds then froze and restarted at halftime lol ......my weekly complaint emails about the service not working and them extending my account by a month to apologise.

Im sure this will be much better lol

Noticed this over the weekend. Surely it’s our way of broadcasting games. Will be tough as a US based fox going from every minute televised to only those on ESPN. Wonder when we’ll hear more.

I think all Championship games are streamed on ESPN+

As i understand it... for example BEIN sports in Australia say they show every championship game... so IPTV should cover you

Bein don't show ever game in Aus. They have a deal on atm so I asked the question.

Got this.

Hi Dave, Yes we are the local broadcaster for the EFL. Up to five Championship matches per week are made available for broadcast, based on the host broadcaster's selections in the UK. Outside of that, highlights of every match will be available in the weekly EFL highlights show and across our digital sites. We do not know which games we have for the start of the season but we normally announce in blocks of 3-4 weeks throughout the season. Thanks

If you are in the UK and LCFC are allowed to broadcast video feed of the match i.e. not 3pm on a Saturday and not on Sky, then it'll cost £10 per match.

UK only audio pass for the season is £45.

Overseas live video option for all 46 league games is around £140.

What is the UK option for video streams?

Or is it some UK nonsensical blackout thing going on, with them wondering why people use illegal streams?

Is there any news on Rudflix    Fox Play?   Was kind of hoping the Northampton game would be available - for a fee of course.

Posted (edited)

ALL CHANGE - LCFC TV became Fox Play for a couple of weeks - and is now Foxes Hub!

The Northampton game is being shown Live, but no news of the arrangements (paid or otherwise) for League & Cup games.
