Also, if you're driving in, junction 16 on the M1, there's a Beefeater called the Turnpike on the a4500, you'll drive right past it.

A really nice country pub for something to eat is The Fox and Hounds in Harlestone, not too far away.

2 min walk for me this one :scarf:

There is normally a few match day carparks that pop up around the ground and you just pay on the gate but judging by the home ticket sales not sure the people running the car parks will even know there’s a game on!

Booked a table at The Fox and Hounds the other day for Saturday, it looks pretty good!

Yeah, it's a decent little pub. We were up there a couple of weeks ago and sat outside for a few drinks when the weather was hot.

And they have Beavertown Neck Oil on tap.

There's a road closure on the way from the A4500, closed for 9 bloody months, but shouldn't affect you too much, I'd just be aware of it and see what Google maps is saying on the day. Might be a 5 or 10 minute detour

Any of you going for a pre game pint? If so where, could all go to the same place without being mauled by Northampton massive 😂

Btw I believe for any Nuneaton based Leicester fans or fans wishing to change there by train. For some reason there's no service's running at all from Nuneaton. You have to go to Bermuda Park for your nearest service.

Any risk of the friendly being postponed? Not sure if the drainage at sixfields is the greatest, quite a large amount of rain we have had the last few days and doesn't look great for the next couple of days either.

Haha, if you’re a regular in there I might have even said hello. I have some family in Spratton.

Christ no, couldn’t afford that. I take the wife when she’s in the mood for roast chicken foam or eau de fish’n’chip, or whatever other noncey almost empty plate is masquerading as food. She loves it though.

Stolarczyk could be involved.

Hes made a huge impression so far in training.

Maybe an outside bet for a breakthrough this season.

Did wonder that with him starting posh game in same 11 as Vardy winks and coady

If you’re wanting to drink near the ground I would recommend Sevens outside the Rugby ground.

If you’re wanting to make a day of it. Wellingborough Road is quality for a pub crawl. Start at the Crown & Cushion and work your way into town. For a pub in town, I’d recommend The Bear (Shit hole but cheap) & O’neils - next door to each other.

Taxi’s are dirt cheap in Northampton, just download Bounds Taxi App. Won’t cost you more than £6 from Town Centre.

Missing this for Tom Jones . Even though I may have been able to scrape both in!

It's not unusual to miss the odd game

Will this be shown online at all? I’m in Japan and would make a good late night watch over a beer or two.
