Last year we would have drawn at best pr lost.

Enzo has hopefully changed the mindset.

I know we were poor at times but who cares!!!

Well I must admit it wasn’t a thriller, but will happily take the points! First half was the best we’ve play so far under Enzo, delighted for Wanya getting his goal. We had total control first half until a sloppy pass/letting the ball go, led to Ramsey hitting a worldie. Second half started in a similar vein to Coventry, albeit with a poorer opponent. The subs made the difference. Casadei showed why what we need from midfield, makes good runs into the box and has a presence about him. If he hadn’t have netted, would Vardy have been awarded a penalty?

100% record certainly can’t be complained about, but I have concerns that in the long term, if we carry on playing at this tempo, we are going to get found out, and especially by the sides who will be up there with us. We move it too slowly and take too many touches, and dare I say it - it can be a bit tedious when played at the pace we play.

I think Vestergaard has actually not been too bad stepping in for Coady, but I’d like to try moving Doyle inside and JJ in the LB/CB role to give us some more pace at the back. Madivadua looks more ready to me than McAteer, but we definitely need some more quality out wide. Mavididi will blow hot and cold, needs some competition, but there are certainly more positives than negatives at the moment. It’s going to take time, but hopefully once we’ve finalised the squad, we can continue to grow and keep building momentum

On a side note, what a bunch of bellends Cardiff fans are. Never seen so many chavved up teens with powder on the end of their nose. They even put a PA announcement telling them to dispose of their drugs before entering 🤣

He is far from ideal, but for what Enzo seems to want, we don’t have much choice until Coady is back do we?

Souttar or Nelson. Vesty is the only thing I disagree with Enzo on at this point. I just don't see how he sees the Dane as a better option. Coady will be a welcome return but a new CB would be nice

Certainly pleased to win again. We have conceded just before break today and not long after break in the Cov game.  Obviously never a good time to let a goal in but perhaps confidence shaken. At least we fought back to win

Most shots, most shots on target, most passes, best pass accuracy, most possession, most corners. All quite comfortably. But yeah...we shithoused it.

Style of play still does my head in but we're winning so **** it, happy days!

I actually like the idea of the style of play - I can see what he is trying to do and I think after just 4 games and a massive change in personnel there is plenty of room for optimism that by about a dozen games this style could become very fluent.

One of the worst things to happen to football was opta stats. In the hands of trained professionals they can help in recruitment to a degree, but just chucking numbers out is irrelevant. He missed 8 of 43 passed based on your stats - so nearly 20% - but what they don't tell you was how many of them led to breakaways and he also lost the ball multiple times without it being a pass. He was a liability today.

He was for the goal, sure. And that's probably why people are singling him out - as i said, he wasn't brilliant, but he certainly wasn't the worst as people are making out.  The good thing about stats is they can show you things you haven't see or considered - like the 4 key passes he made....

Thought he was the best of the 3 CBs today. I wonder if the "ponderous" comment is due to how we're using him to bait the press? He picks some great passes through the lines.

They don't get it and he's the scapegoat for most, teams won't press him hard because they know the quality he has with his passing range

Oh I'd agree with most of that tbf, granted it's not my cup of tea even if it were being done perfectly but it's amazing how quickly he's stamping his influence on the way we play...like it's very distinctly his way and you can see that when it's ironed out that it'll be incredibly effective and if your "teething issues" stage yields 4 wins from 4 you're doing something right

May be an image of football, american football and text

It was a superb strike, and he hit it from way outside the goal, right in to the opposite corner - really great technique.

For those fans, and there are a lot of you, who claim that we were 'lucky' to win today (and in our other games), i urge you to watch the highlights of Ipswich's win over QPR, how they pulled that off or kept a clean sheet is beyond luck, it's a freakshow!

Didn’t explain his play before hand though

He really wasn't that bad.
