Apparently, yellow cards in the match are wiped clean for the penalty shootout. No, me neither.

Has anyone seen anything in Cody Gakpo? We were linked with him once, and when we played PSV I was looking forward to seeing him and Madueke (another one we were linked with). But having seen them in more detail in the PL I think both are bang average.

Seems like the ref went to give martinez a yellow then realised he couldn't cause hed a have to send him off and and im not sure you can make sub in mid pens. 

 

But fair play to Martinez shut the french up. So at least one English club is through... so far.

He got one yellow but didn't count as a second yellow although he did try to push his luck!

 

What difference would West Ham and Liverpool winning this tie but going out overall make to the coefficient?

He gave him a yellow and received two. It is just that it seems yellow cards don’t carry into a shootout
