More like they did a Leicester and then some! If they go onto win in the final and the German cup final holy crap they’ve outdone us and kudos to them. Alonso is one hell of a coach! Who’d have thought he had it in him

Sorry but no. They've been a top flight side since 1979. Since 2011 They've finished 2nd, 5th, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 3rd, 12th, 5th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 3rd and 6th. The 12th is their anomaly, that would be an overachievement for us. They've won the German cup and were runners up a few years ago. They've been in a Champions league final in 2001, and won the UEFA Cup in the 80's.

 

They had a fantastic season and to go unbeaten in all competitions is a great achievement but let's not pretend this is some yo yo club who've had zero past success suddenly coming good. It'd be like Spurs or Villa doing it over here. It'd be a shock and would be praised but it wouldn't be anywhere near Leicester coming from nowhere to win the league.
