Leverkuzen 1-0 but I don't think West Ham had any chance qualifying even if it stayed 0-0. Tbf it should have been 7-0 already. Leverkuzen's playing the best attractive attacking football in Europe all season, they're like prime Ajax back in the good days.

Don't see how they can make any excuses. Their defence was so horrific, so genuinely, objectively bad I don't think they can blame anyone but themselves. 

 

Literally every goal they were all at sea. It was so bad it looked like they were throwing the game at times.
