Either you sit near where I sit or it's a generational thing 😂 the older folk are used to the good old fashioned kick it as hard as you can up the pitch and chase it down British way, they don't like this tippy tappy rubbish

It gets worse when we're winning aswell. Like we should abandon everything we do so we can just kick the ball back to them for them to lay seige to our penalty area.

Ridiculous isn't it, we controlled possession during injury time nicely and I felt surprisingly relaxed until that free kick.

We've now got 21 times as many points as we had this time last year!

Took you an hour to come up with that?

Sorry couldn't resist, it'll be the last dad joke on the matter I promise!

Mediocre game. Controlled it. Won it.
Bristol came with a plan to stifle us and it worked for the most part. Better decision and we could have had 4 or 5.

Thought Ndidi played well. Wingers were good. Winks pretty much flawless again.

KDH though, I dunno. Made way too many errors. Seemed very slow in his thinking and chose the wrong pass 90% of the time when attacking. Has the ability for sure, but needs to sort himself out.

Still, 3pts, we move on. Let’s just batter Liverpool next.

"The Paris of the South West" ?  lol

As in, there are some proper seedy no go areas?

Or is it the amount of dog muck on the streets?

Yes!!

Then scream bloody murder if a pass is misplaced at the other end of the field despite the fact they wanted to give them possession in a far superior position less than 30 seconds before. Mind blowing.

I've got family in Bristol and they sound thick as planks with that accent.

And they are thick as planks as well tbf.

That said I quite like Bristol as a city.  I hear it's fast becoming known as the Paris of the South West.

It’s going downhill then?

Leeds and (especially) Southampton are showing that this league can't be underestimated. We had our first proper warning from Hull.

Otherwise we've been bloody brilliant so far. Speaks volumes of the mentality and the squad depth that we're able both to see games out and grab late winners. Keep it up.

PS - lovely to see God on Crutches today. They were well organised, if a bit of a wet fart up front. Hope to see them in the playoff picture. ❀

It's so annoying! The complaints behind me started when we weren't even 1 up, and seemed to get worse afterwards! Like they find it so difficult to understand we're just a different side now, with structure and organisation and an actual plan.

Even more bizarre given how many of those sorts were fully paid-up Brendan-bummers.

The bloke behind me is unbearable
.. he’s always on about it, and at one point he was winging rotten about Mads, and said “he’s not even kept a clean sheet yet”

I think the issue is, there’s some who go to the football, who actually don’t know the first thing about it

outside of Leicester, they couldn’t tell you much about the game.

Im loving it, I thought today it was fascinating to watch some of the patterns of play, and we’re no where near 100% yet I’d say.

You could see Bristol City players getting frustrated before half time. Then we took it up a gear to start the second half. Plus we were creating chances. (Something I heard an older gentleman and what I assume was his son moaning we didn't do on the walk to the car) sometimes I have to rethink what I'm watching because we aren't watching the same sport.

Oy, as a fully paid up geriatric I'm loving what I am seeing this season :)

Thought we really started turning the screw in the first 10 mins after the break. Might not have been dominant in the scoreline but it was a very controlled performance and we bossed them. Good after a week containing two tough away trips.

I heard them say 'but who do you replace him with' more times than I could count. As you can imagine that was also frustrating.

Love all these comments about adapting to Enzo ball. Wonder if, penultimate game of the season, people on here will still be saying, ‘We’ll be unstoppable when it clicks.’?

I said “easy win” in the pre match thread and it was just that. Should have been 3-0/4-0 not a win via a penalty. We were by far the dominant side.

For a team with Bristol City aspirations they didn’t impress me at all.
