I like this but I think it will be -

 

Ayew, Nelson, Moreno loan from villa and a young lad who’s got potential like the lad from gent.

I’ve not been a huge advocate of Gus Hamer, especially the calls of potentially signing him last season under a Maresca system.

 

If the idea is to be more direct and progress the ball forward quicker under Steve Cooper, then Gus Hamer would be absolutely ideal, was always one of the best progressive passers in the Championship when at Coventry.

Nelson would be dynamite for us has the pace to really stretch teams and ability. 

 

As for a forward, I think someone of the ilk of Martial would be perfect for us.

Didn't they just sign him this summer - thought he'd get a bit of a look-in. Or was he purely signed as a makeweight on the Douglas Luiz deal?

If we are planning to offload Iversen then we might need a GK on loan as well. Otherwise, until Jakub is back, we are an injury to Mads from having Ward starting in the PL again. That is too much of a risk.

It’s a great market, just like South America.

Encouraging to see how well Gronbaek has settled in France, as I personally think Nanasi is the bigger talent

Just spotted this guy currently playing for Racing Club in Argentina.

Only 3.5 Million Euro on Transfermarkt. Age 32, though.

Still think we should be pushing to get another loan off Chelsea, particular in the forward areas. They are gonna have to offload pretty sharpish and maybe Enzo has SOME goodwill

I'd imagine there will be a bit of a scramble to do this towards the end of the market with about 10 to 15 players.

 

I reckon teams will hold off to just subsidise their wages rather than pay the full amount. Come the last few days they'll be backed in to a corner to take what they can to offload some of their costs surely.

If he can't make Villa's match day squad, perhaps there's a reason for that? Be interesting to see if he makes Villa's 25 man squad if he's still around, not that we could do any business then, though.
