Out of that the only I would be interested in is Somerville, although he went missing when he was really needed. And he wears gloves when it’s hot. I think Gnonto has attitude problems and Rutter and Piroe are overrated. Don’t think Gray is ready.

I wouldn't mind Rutter from that lot. Seemed to have a good attitude and played well whenever I've seen him. But would be out of our price range anyway. I'd like us to get on the blower to Spurs and see if we can do a deal or a loan on Rodon. Mikey Johnston from Celtic would be good. Archie Gray for me is massively overrated. One more season and he'll be a slightly better version of Luke Thomas, nothing more. 3

Lambert09 Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 perhaps enzo will loan us a few? Wouldn’t be so mad if he let us have hutchinson and disasi, colwill or chalobah for the season

UniFox21 Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 Deals like this are exactly why Chelsea somehow managed to swindle past FFP. Also why there's absolutely no value picking up some academy products from clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool etc 1
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 28 May 2024 Posted 28 May 2024 Wouldn’t be shocked if Enzo takes Mads after this snippet from a Percy article… I would take Ramsdale on loan with a view to permanent if we stay up. ”Maresca is already discussing potential transfer targets and will prioritise a new goalkeeper, left-back and forward when the summer window opens.”

However, I can't see Chelsea being held to ransom on him. They'll go elsewhere you'd think.

Claudio Fannieri Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 Mads is a fantastic goalkeeper and will go on to be one of the best, however I think this is an area where we can replace him and move forward without it having too much of an adverse effect. Stolrcryk is a talent and there will be decent options out there and if it means we can be PSR complaint without having to cash in on KDH then happy days.
volpeazzurro Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 6 hours ago, Phenom said: If we had to lose one, which would it be: Mads or KDH? KDH who's 25yrs and I think has hit his ceiling playing and value wise. Won't find it as easy to be an influence in the Championship albeit his effort is faultless. Think he'll want out too. Mads on the other hand at 23yrs is different, very young in goalkeeping terms. Just started and adapted to English football and has far more of a ceiling potential and future value wise. 1
Scotch Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 I wonder what Arsenal would want for Kieran Tierney? Doesn't appear to be part of their plans, great option at LB/LWB and LCB and adds a bit of steel to the team (I mean this figuratively ofcourse as litteraly, he has the same biological make-up as trifle which is the main drawback)

Depends on our next manager for me really If they still want a keeper who is really good with their feet then I think it is easier to replace KDH than Mads If they aren’t overly bothered about the keeper being good with their feet then sell Mads, keep KDH, and use Stolarczyk 1
LVFox Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 Stolaryczyk looked good when called upon, but those suggesting he can step up to PL from backup really need to remember how that went with Danny Ward. Don't see Hermansen leaving yet, but similarly, Enzo will want a new keeper at Chelsea.
Phenom Posted 30 May 2024 Posted 30 May 2024 Enzo’s new squad is super bloated - how about a loan for someone like Axel Disasi, Andrey Santos or Lesley Ugochukwu?

JimJams Posted 30 May 2024 Posted 30 May 2024 Disasi was their most played defender last season, so he's not going anywhere.

It's going to be interesting what could be available from Chelsea. I can't see where the following get a sniff next season: Sanchez, Kepa, Chalobah, Sarr, Chilwell, Humphreys (big fan), Ugochukwu, Santos, Chukwuemeka, Moreira, Washington, Datro Fofana, Broja, Maatsen, Angelo, Lukaku, Hutchinson The player I'd most like to see us look at is Leo Castledine from their academy. Hutchinson will go for a trumped up price this summer with various add ons or clauses IMO. 2
