No problem with Sessegnon on a free if he wasn't an imposter. Rumour has it the real Ryan Sessegnon was killed in a freak snowboarding accident in Honolulu and his little known twin brother Steve took up the mantle to carry on his brothers legacy and improve on his own career., with their older brother Chris taking over Steves career resulting in a move to Wigan. Due to Steves limitations as a footballer he's decided it's best to be injured for at least 90% of matches in order to reduce focus on him and exposing this whole facade.

So it's a yes from me.

I have seen a few people stating they would want Brahima Diarra now he has been released… I honestly don’t understand the hype around him, am I missing something? Yes he’s young and good at the high press, but other than that he doesn’t seem to offer anything for me.

I don't know much about him, I can't imagine such a signing would be expected to make a huge impact on the 1st team next season but who knows.

His stats at Championship level are less impressive than the likes of McAteer whom we have concerns about being PL quality but we are going to need to unearth diamonds in the rough and this is where Enzo's supposed coaching qualities to come to the fore.

This is from Sessegnons wiki page under ‘Guinness World Record’.

On 27 May 2019, Sessegnon achieved the Guinness World Records title for 'Fastest time to hit both football goal posts and crossbar', doing so in just 7.75 seconds.

It’s a yes from me.

I wonder if Arne Slot would fancy loaning out Jarrel Quansah? 17 appearances for Liverpool this season and he’s looked like a really good ball playing defender. Maybe Arne Slot wants to come in and not take many risks as he wants to have the best start possible.

Would’ve loved him here but we can’t compete with Villa anymore unfortunately.

It will be interesting to see how he gets on. He was there before on a season-long loan and it didn't work out.

Is he better being a big fish in a small pond/a club where there's less pressure?

Clear he's got the talent, the consistency has been the issue.

Any other Adam Wharton’s around?

One I was absolutely gutted we didn't go for.

The lad will be a superstar.

Yeah possibly, it would have to be a very advantageous contract offer on our part.

If we could get him for less than we are paying Albrighton it’s worth the risk imo

For him yes, and he needs a free role which he won't get. He'll go back to being just another player again and Villa will struggle fighting relegation if he's the answer to their last few months of form. Bring on Tielemans and Barkley in midfield lol

I wouldn't have thought so, he's got a good track record of giving youth a shot in the first team, and with Liverpool's injury record over the past two seasons, I don't know if they'll be keen to ship out a decent squad player.

You're probably right, and 17 appearances is nothing to sniff at, it would make sense to give him another 15+ next season, but who knows, possibly Slot comes in and wants to bring some experience in. We can only hope those sorts of players become available for loan as it would suit us perfectly, would also suit the loan clubs as they know we will give them game time as we won't be signing many players you wouldn't have thought.

Another goal for Malmö today.

Humour me. We could actually field a midfield 4 of Mavididi, Nanasi, Gronbaek and Fatawu couldn't we?
