I hope that Enzo's influence might steer us to look to Italy where young players regularly get overlooked in favour of experience and can be purchased for modest fees. Look at Riccardo Calafiori at Bologna. Left Roma aged 20 to Basel for £2m and then Bologna bought him last summer for marginally more and now he's worth 10+ times that after a stunning season there. 1

Fair point, but it's certainly going to be cheaper than trying to recruit from the next wrung up the ladder. We're prats for not utilising Leuven for value for money anyway.
LVFox Posted 16 June 2024 Posted 16 June 2024 Been one I've rated for a while, and impressed watching him for Denmark now. Jonas Wind is a lovely link up forward 1

Ric Flair Posted 17 June 2024 Posted 17 June 2024 I've been very impressed with Jakub Piotrowski at Ludogrets. His contract is up next summer and he's one to watch if Poland can get through their group at the Euros. All action central midfielder.

foxfanazer Posted 17 June 2024 Posted 17 June 2024 Dennis Man. I'd definitely heard of him before and I'm in no way basing this on the hour of football I've just seen him play for Romania 1
Pliskin Posted 17 June 2024 Posted 17 June 2024 ****ing live Danso. He’s a complete lunatic….. shame we’re shit because I’d love us to go for him.
cityfanlee23 Posted 17 June 2024 Posted 17 June 2024 Please put the pitchforks away as you read this, it's not a "suggestion" as such. But what do people think of Deli Alli but only if he signed a pay-as-you-play deal like Owen did at United? He's obviously had issues and it's been very publicly covered, but he seems to have turned a corner, he sounds very honest when talking about his desire to get back to his best. Free agent, 28 years old so has time ahead of him.

Old Fox Posted 18 June 2024 Posted 18 June 2024 I wonder if Ngolo would fancy a couple of seasons back in England - based upon last night he was amazing and exactly what we need !!
