Interesting to see if any or how many drop out. Been wondering for a while if we'll have some mysterious sudden injuries and it seems that with Nacho and possibly Wilf there's a couple of doubts.

The fact the headlines are still we still haven't heard whether the African contingent can play on Monday is concerning. 

Especially regarding Fatawu even being in a squad

Generally teams get permission to play their AFCON players or NYD so hopefully we'll have them free

So now we are down to losing - Souttar, Daka, Iheanacho and Ndidi

Only now really Ndidi and Daka we are missing from the starting XI and Zambia will have the work cut out to get out of the group. Morocco should comfortably win that group then between Zambia and DR Congo for second place.

 

I would expect Nigeria and Australia to be there to the semis at least.

Annoyingly, the one player who'd offer similar attributes to Ndidi is Adem Zorgane from Charleroi but he will also be away at AFCON.
