Great news just in.

I’ve heard that we’ve  got the Nicky Maynard deal over the line. Just need to fax over the paperwork before the deadline

Not happening as long as King Power are here

Yeah, I mean it's not like they had anything to do with rebuilding the most dysfunctional team in our history and creating from the rubble the most successful championship team in history....

Everyone saying Rudkin or the club are muppets need to realise that maybe Inter or the agent are trying to make muppets out of us. We don’t need him. Would like him though.

Well that’s just incompetence getting an intern to do all the work on it

Why are Italian clubs so hard to do business with

I mean we offered £3m, they accepted. We offered £2m and they accepted and then we took the piss offering £500k and a later fee and they still accepted.

Italian clubs are saying "Why is Jon Rudkin so difficult to deal with"

How does it take 3 ****ing weeks to figure out if you can sign a player or not?

This is what bother me the most. There's either been some less than open discussion from one side with some facts not being revealed or frankly it is plain incompetence and lack of due diligence on our behalf.

The fact that he has been the only potential signing seriously discussed also illustrates how parlous our financial position must be in relation to FFP.

Exacerbated by some rank bad signings last January where we wasted several million pounds on players that either aren't good enough or won't try to adapt to a new playing style. In our position this was exactly the time to invest in a couple of decent new signings but we're clearly not able to do that.

Terrible coach at England youth level in the 90s.

He wanted to put Seaman in the U16s.

Comical really, if we can’t afford it why bother going through all the effort, should really be black or white, an easy yes or no, and if it isn’t know this well in advance

The post that’s lining up with all of the latest reports and from someone who some us of personally know is well connected? Yeah.

Does anything about this transfer seem competent? 😂

Well connected?  So literally sitting in with the recruitment team right now?

It's all just guess work - none of us know.  But most of the media seems to be pointing to a 'legal issue' which is perfectly reasonable, unfortunate, but these things do happen-
