I think he has 10 goals in him at Championship level as does Ayew. Desperately in need of another man who can at least get 15+though. No way is that Daka in my opinion.

Sod PSR, let’s get Isak in. 😂

Poor though he is none of our forwards got good service from midfield. As for midfielders pitching in with a goal or two it's little wonder we struggled to score. We desperately need an attacking midfielder and I'm not sure Kanouss is the answer.  Fancy footwork but not much threat.

Yes I would absolutely say the Leeds game summed him up. Golden chance in a huge game that could have been season defining and he gets caught in about 7 minds and fails.

Also took a golden chance in that game that was wrongly disallowed

But Marti’s football is all about a high press.

This will not work if playing Ayew and we’ll see the embarrassing pressing as individuals like last season.

Daka is far from ideal and desperate for a better alternative but Ayew in a team that wants to high press is suicidal football and we’ll just get played through 24/7.

I agree. I think Daka would be a good squad player, as Striker back up and regular Sub, but we desperately need a first choice, 'proper' striker.

I'm surprised that no one is mentioning Ayew as a 'false No 9' / attacking central midfielder. Given his age and slowness, but good awareness, hold up play and passing ability, I think he could do a good job there.

The thing is, we could easily sell Daka and bring in a forward that we don’t know, who will be worse.

It would be a gamble moving him on, as we know he’ll score goals (albeit not the amount we crave) at the level we are at.

I think his hold up play being useful if a cope/myth that gets rolled out too offen.  He was poor with it last season and preseason he played the same. Falling over at the halfway line. He rarely looks to bring players into the game.  Him and Daka need to be goal poaches and let people with a brain and ability deal the build ups

An actual striker that will run with the ball, not trip himself up, not look to turn backwards and win a foul at every opportunity and can get a shot on goal.  Maybe shouldn’t have gotten rid of Cannon.

Maybe the media team and can flood YouTube with heavily edited skill videos and hope a team has the same level of recruitment research as us.

It would still be only a YouTube short.

It’s been a hard job to be a striker here with Vardy still at the club, he’s at the end of a long list of those who have struggled. I’d give him 10 games or so to see how he goes as the main man, this stinks of him going elsewhere and firing.

It’s worth remembering that Wood was in Vardy’s shadow at one point.

Overlaid with a banging euro techno dance track circa 2003 and flashy graphics that say SKILLZ

Scored an absolute worldie on the latest YouTube training session video, maybe he just hasn’t been given a chance

I thought there were two worldies from what I saw on Twitter.

About 20/1 to be top scorer 👀

That’s more of a concern regarding the defence and keeper than him suddenly having ability.

Yes Daka has scored two in training and suddenly a player we all know to be absolutely dogshit is Messi

Quick give him a new five year contract

Suddenly people have lost their sense of humour as well, makes you think.

Was watching the first half thinking our high energy style might actually suit him. Then you watch that and remember he has the bozo gene no matter what you do.
