Played 30+ games - got us relegated

Refused to play in the championship as he felt it beneath him.

Came back to play another 30+ games and relegate us.

He's ****ing toxic.

Got academy lads who would be embarrassed if they put in that level of performance. Strolls through games with minimal effort and gets away with it. 9 more games left and hopefully binned/loaned/sold in the summer.

And Top has been chartering him a private jet back to France every week because he apparently 'feels homesick'. What a joke.

Maresca interview a week before he left on loan - words to the effect of players not feeling like they belong in this division.

So yes. True.

I can't help it. At least I feel smug. In all seriousness though I don't understand how he was allowed to stay if his publicly advertised sulking was true. We knew we were in a fight. Even Cooper noticed and brought in Skipp on emergency prices. I'm sure he's a joy in training, but the Premier League is unforgiving. He should have been loaned out again if there was no buyer. It's embarrassing and symptomatic of the serial bad decisions being made somewhere in the setup which just isn't ruthless when it needs to be, and resorts to knee-jerk decision making when it doesn't need to be.

Was at fault for the opening goal and then made another error that gifted United the 2nd that was disallowed for offside, granted he had some nice touches but as a defensive shield he is a fecking liability and the way he lumbers around when trying to track back makes my piss boil. Can’t wait to see him leave the club, like so many others here, just hanging around collecting their wages with little or no affinity for the club, I reckon 75% of this squad can’t wait to get out.

We're in financial trouble and yet still spent £20m on a replacement for this waste of space and they still can't get in ahead of him. Everywhere you look in this squad, nothing makes sense.

He should be called ‘Goal a game’ Soumare for the opposition! Fack me I’ve never seen a midfielder who is so so poor off the ball, can’t track a runner or get goal side. Him and Faes stink the place out with their attitude.

Spot it a mile off…

im sure RVN or any other manager we’ve had can not watch games back in full…

because If they did, soumare would be nowhere near the squad never mind a shoe in to the starting 11!

End of April now and he's STILL in the team!! Yes, his second relegation with us has now been confirmed!

As the player who epitomises our demise, and as the one who has knocked Junior off top-spot for 'worst-ever-City-player' I do wonder what his record actually is?

Does anyone know how many appearances he has made and how many of them have ended in defeat??

I think his appearances are in the high 80's & he has never scored a goal.

Incredible that he is picked for every match

Just take any reasonable offer that comes in, Sevilla were put off by 15m Euro I think? I’d take a quarter of that and shove him out of the exit door. Useless sack of crap.

89 appearances

67 starts

5,185 mins - 64.6 90s

27 wins (30%)

16 draws (18%)

46 losses (52%)

We have basically lost every other game he has played in for us across all competitions

0 goals and 1 assist in 89 games.

That's shocking for a midfield player.

Anyone would think he wasn't interested.

Even I have the awareness to know we cant, but I'd be more than happy to bin off all the dross like Soumare, Faes, Vestergaard etc in this squad. just pay em off.

wishful thinking.
