They got someone new in to write statements?

Not yet but change will come with more members. It’s the members that drive the action

Not only do they piss on the fans - they want them to open their mouths as well.

£25 for the privilege of using a card that we already have, the alternative being to have your every move digitally monitored and exploited.

It's an outrage.

I fear this ownership is completely losing touch with the regular match going fans.

It’s the middle management on this one. One chump in particularly I believe is insistent on it

Sorry to be a pedant. But the charge is for a new card. Your old one won’t work for next season.

Davie G has it spot on.

More numbers, more gravitas, more noise, more opinion, more hands to help build something which functions better

Haha. You think they couldn't have kept the current one active like they have in previous seasons? Wake up.

There is a way to do it, but no one wants to be the one to publicly post it, get sliding into DM's and I bet you find an answer

Some can’t read in between the lines.

It’s a simple marketing tactic. They don’t want people to have them. People won’t pay the £25. People won’t have them. Problem solved!

Why anyone would want to have something that’s easy to lose/break still is beyond me. I imagine most of the anger is to do with it being more difficult to share with mates/family?

The scanners work fine, people need to move forwards!

Oh and before anyone throws it at me, there’s no way anyone who can afford a season ticket is suffering from digital poverty…

My annoyance is that we are being forced to pay £25 (how was that figure reached, by the way?) to use a card they are choosing to make obsolete for no apparent reason and replace it. If I lose it, break it, move seat etc which physically requires a new one I don't mind paying a charge.

In the vast majority of cases, there is no need.

If so doesn’t work, you are able to screenshot the ticket on your phone and it works if you send to friend/ family. Know people who have done this to avoid the hassle of changing name for one game

Don’t believe this will work if ticket only gets to your phone when proximate to the KP

In my experience, psychologically £25 is enough to cause the sort of chaos we’re seeing here. £15… most would probably pay, £25… that’s basically an extra game a season.

I reckon 70% will make the move and 30% will pay up. Win win for the club.

I am awake! Agree, of course they could have but they’re not. You said you were paying £25 to keep your old card. That just isn’t the case.

Has had a working relationship with certain people at up the club, so will never get him say anything critical. Just defend, defend

Agreed, but the 'no apparent reason' is so that they can monitor and control us. They can't do that with a card. Hence the outrageous deterrent of a £25 premium.

Not sure that's the case? Ticket is sent within 24hrs isn't it?

Semantics, fair enough - but the point still stands.

I don’t know

I read something (possibly on the LFC version) that you get notification to phone proximate to the ground
