Those juries always pick the most boring crap imagineable. Let the phone vote have even more weight, bin off the industry suits and give Europe the novelty lasagna based musical winners it truely deserves

Time to stop allowing Israel, Azerbaijan & Australia to be involved. This is Eurovision at the end of the day not world vision or global vision. Just woke madness

There's never any rhyme or reason behind who wins this. Just pot luck.

This sort of attitude is what lead to us presenting a man galavanting about a dirty shower with sound worse than a karaoke night at the Rovers Return. Country is on its arse because of mindsets like this

Really disappointing!. No palestinian protests, no just stop oli bell ends. No messages against Russia in support of Ukraine!. I thought this was meant to be a political event!.

You need to post in general chat again. It's a less amusing place without you.

Because we entered a decent performer with a decent song.

This year we once again tried way too hard to please certain viewers.

It was embarrassing to listen to and even worse on the eye.

What do you mean by certain viewers. I get your point but not sure why.

What viewers were we trying to please?

Those who don't know how to grout their bathroom or use jif?

Yeah exactly. The jury vote saved Eurovision’s skin. Can you imagine how many countries would boycott next year had Israel won?

That was the wierd thing

Take out the politics and the Israeli song should have done well with the jury and not the public  - it was artistically v sound but lacked something that the public need to get behind.

the Croatian song reflected that - was one for the public and not the juries

the French one attracted support both ways.  I’m not surprised that the juries realised that they had the responsibility to avoid the issue of Israel winning.  Allowing the public to vote 20 times (or whatever it is) seems bizarre (although good for telecoms business’ )

They need to tone down the sexualisation of it. It's a family show but I wouldn't want my kids watching it.

I agree. The hypocrisy in the media and with some of the public is awful. One minute there is outrage concerning the bombardment of sexualisation towards underage kids and the next ignoring it because it suits

There's all the lighthearted fun of Eurovision high camp and glitter and dressing up, and its messages about inclusivity, and then there's the UK's entry last night, caressing the jockstraps of his scantily clad fellow performers as they writhed about in a set that looked like a fairly dirty public toilet.

I can imagine that being a fairly hard sell to the voting public of some of the more socially conservative parts of Eastern and Southern Europe as they decided who they wanted to vote for.

Nul points.
