Disagree. Yes he had a god awful season with Brendan Bodgers but he has played well previously in the prem and had a great season in the championship.

Relatively promising article, would personally see Vesty go, but can see the reasoning, he's had a very good season. 

 

The CB we bring in needs to be super quick though.

100% Maresca decision and why not, Vesty was pivotal last season and we all know Enzo wont change the style to deter multiple arse rapings next season.

Vesty has done enough to earn a new contract and another go with us in the premier league under Enzo. Definitely need to strengthen across the back in general though.

Yeah, I’m not happy with this. His lack of pace, especially, is gonna be horrific to watch.

 

I see it as good for numbers in the squad but I hope we strengthen defence.

To get someone like Vestegaard playing in the system we play you're talking minimum £15m.

How can you watch us all season but be surprised Vesty is staying? Too integral to the way we play. Enzo is a big fan so fine keeping him. 

 

I am hoping we adopt more of the Southampton game plan of conceding the possession and yeah perhaps sitting deep & breaking on the counter more so which probably will be inevitable against the top 8
