Agreed with Fabregas, need to be more consistent with our domination.

But plenty of positive performances in that half, Guehi, Rice, Bellingham & Saka have been excellent.

I didn’t watch any of Bayern, I just saw Kanes numbers.

Did he stay more forward for them?

They said earlier he'd played much further forward for Bayern than at Spurs. A 'proper' number 9.

Bellingham has Zidane like characteristics. Not quite as big but all round game is great.

Hopefully not head butt someone though!

England's subs will make the difference, I think. Claire Balding to come on and cause havoc.

Dive to win a penalty?

Am I missing something?  Kane, Saka, Foden.  Why is it Trent?   Is his name backwards and he's actually Alexander Arnold Trent?

Shearer is doing my head in.  Either all forenames or all surnames.

Because I can't be arsed to write Alexander-Arnold and everyone knows who you mean when you say Trent. Simple as that

Is there any reason Rice is on the pitch?

Doing Trent John Alexander-Arnold's leg work seemingly.

I looked up his middle name just to make you happy

Bellingham Saka and Guehi had a great half too, rice has done well though

Yeah, but Rice wasn't the best player in the half was he...

All Foden needs to do is take up the back post position and he'd have two goals by now. His football intelligence must be high playing under Pep so I can only assume he's playing to instructions from Southgate

It’s different patterns of play. He’s typically more central for Manchester City.

Rice is doing the Harry Winks role but Pickford has gone long quite a bit.

Decent half but lost our way a little towards the end.

Looked in control and confident, almost arrogant on the ball but haven't created a lot and it's bit tippy tappy in midfield.

First half of our last season redux

I know but he's adaptable enough to make it work I'd have thought
