Reece James, Estevao, Palmer, Fernandez, Garnacho, Caicedo, Cucurella, Fofana, Pedro Neto, Jamie Gittens, Sanchez

Half of those you have listed are simply not good enough. You can even add Fofana's injury proneness.

In addition, there is also an experience problem in the squad. All pretty much youth besides a few, lacking know-how to grind out results.

All of them are good enough to be fighting closer to the top than they are. Villa are performing at a far higher level relative to their squad.

Emery is a great example of a manager getting the best out of players and making them better.

You didn't read my last line about experience then.

He fell out and got rid of their most experienced player, Sterling, who had won it all. Got rid of Chilwell too.

To operate at the top, you need quality + experience. Sterling and Chilwell are both shadows of the players they were.

That Sterling cameo in the Quarter Final against us was all Maresca needed to see lol

Looking at Chelsea fans online

Most want him to stay, they're fuming at their board. I'm on twitter seeing the outbursts.

Looking at Chelsea fans online most want maresca gone...describing his football as turgid and boring. He's going to be the same every where he goes, dunno if Man city would enjoy that type of football

Sounds familiar

Not surprised, we know better than most how stubborn he is - he’d of ended up walking from this mess before getting pushed even if he’d never left us. Glad he’s walking from their shitshow on his own terms. Agree with others that his philosophy is a bit dated in modern football terms but I’d back him to adapt.

Maresca is a great manager. Unbelievable that he’s under pressure at Chelsea considering the age of the squad and the success he’s had there already.

Wonder if Chelsea will move quickly for Glasner. Him or Iraola would be the obvious choices.

Glasner doesn't play the type of football that Chelsea fans want to watch.

Whether he can adapt is debatable !!
