This is the second or third time he's said we were nowhere near it in a half. Hugely worrying

The thing is, fair enough to accept responsibility, but he doesn't know what to do to change it.

The board have ****ed it big time, again.

Was the question asked why we were nowhere near the level? Would he be capable of answering?

The concerning thing for me is that I have actually been quite impressed with the effort and attitude shown by the majority of the players. But if we continue to underperform largely due in my view to odd team selections and tactics that confidence  and willingness will drop. If and when that happens then all hope for the season will be gone. Surely he has studied videos of players in the last few seasons. What works and what hasn’t. Keeping some talented players on the sidelines reminds me of the worst aspects of Roger’s. The board need to thrash it out with Cooper tomorrow as to what is going on and what is he thinking. I don’t think we are that far off making it work but issues need to be addressed now. Come on Steve sort it out.

Without delving into tactics, it all feels so disjointed. Very little of what we do seems to amount to anything and its very difficult to watch. Players on the whole don't look happy. Lots of arm flapping and bickering when moves amount to nothing.

Its not a happy camp although i do feel the players are putting a shift in, just not entirely how they would like to.

At the start found his interviews alright, but now they really frustrate me.  Just coming across very insincere an waffling around subjects. Taking Mavi off because he had 'run his race' on 90 minutes and then repeating the statement many times in the interview - just strange.

Really don't know where we go from here. Its like at work when you realise 2 months in that you picked the wrong candidate for a job who may have appeared more qualified than he was. Only here there is no probationary period. But the fact is we are hard to beat and the points from these draws do add up.

Honest in interviews, underwhelming on the pitch. As I expected.

I dont think he is honest.

If he came out and said.

I'm very lucky to have a job in the premier league because I'm no where near that level I did brilliant at under 17s because the talent that was coming through are lighting up the world stage now.

I'm not sure what tactics are however I like to defend until we are a goal down and I will make substitutions between the 75th and 90th minute. However the subs I make will put the players playing int he wrong positions. I also take off players that are playing to positive.

I still don't know my best team and for the forseeable future I will continue to leave some of the best players at the club on the bench however 1 or 2 of them may get 3 mins of a game here and there.

The only thing he says that is honest ever interview is that the club is in the premier league.

Well not for long under this ****.

The big question is why do we only look good in the second half of games? Are the players just in really good shape or is there some sudden tactical change I’m not noticing?

Two differences. Players using their own intelligence and other teams dropping twenty yards deeper to preserve their leads

Lose to Arsenal and Bournemouth, and Forest will probably be the crunch match just as it was for Rodgers in 2022. Although even with that, it wasn’t entirely clear whether the club would have acted. I’m not as anti-Cooper as some on here, but also leaning towards the thinking that this squad will be limited in what can be achieved this season under his management.

There's probably not a lot to separate Cooper and Dean Smith as managers, the latter obviously has a relegation to his name which is the main difference, but as we know that wasn’t all down to him. There are also similarities between them with the jobs they did at Forest and Villa respectively.

His primary thought going into games appears to always be 'don't lose' - so we set up conservatively, try and 'keep it tight' and then when we inevitably go a goal down anyway, we have to chase the game. That's my view on it anyway. You can't just park the bus and expect to not concede these days, teams will just go through you. We're evidently much better when we try and actually play.

Crucial set of fixtures for Cooper starting today. Heavy defeat and that might end his time here, but if it's a narrow loss or draw, the board will probably keep him in reality.

It comes to something that a draw at home to Bournemouth will prob keep him in a job for a few more weeks. God help us. Honestly don’t see us winning 5 games with him in charge if he stays till the end of the season.

We’ve conceded first in five of our six games so far. In two of those games we’ve recovered to get a point, and in two others we got back on level terms before eventually losing. And even in the game where we never got back on terms (Villa), we arguably played well enough to do so.

This shows that plan A is consistently not working, and that we only really start play playing when Cooper’s game plan is thrown out of the window and we introduce an element of chaos as we’re chasing the game. You’d think he might have learned something from this, but there are no signs as yet that he has. I think his rigid adherence to a conservative approach that doesn’t work will end his time with us sooner rather than later, but probably not today.

unfortunately so, and ngl it makes going to games feel less appealing. like if it was any negative result got rid of the clown then it'd be at least a win-win regardless of the outcome, either we win or take solace in being rid of him, but in reality we'll get neither, another narrow defeat where we rally when the games already lost but the board keep faith in him

The Board has seemingly no idea of football and what is going on so thats pointless

Not sure it is. Yes, beating them is good for the fans but we really can't afford to lose the two games either side of it. Winning those but losing this is probably better, to be honest.

Given the run after Ipswich, failure to win any of the next four and we will likely be well adrift come the New Year.

Agreed but you don’t need to know football to see something is wrong and ask and.

I knew the fickle fans would be blaming cooper for poor management of the club.

I am tempted to post a poll of 3 choices but I expect will be taken down.

Vote - 3 options. Which do you prefer.

A - Tippy tappy build up play, it looks elite and tactical boss, dont care if we lose 3+ nil every week, just want us to look good.

B - Pragmatic fights for points and stay up, lots of backs to the wall to get there with the misbalanced squad.

C - Neither of these two options I have unrealistic expectations.
