Brilliant performance. It's generally been a bit of a head scratcher to hear him slagged off so much when he's hardly played.

I wonder if it's size thaf puts managers off playing him, but technically I think he should start over mavididi, as for ayew, I must be missing something with him, because he doesn't look defensive or attacking to me. I'd be tempted to give mavididi a go on the right

Was only supposed to be a squad player, but if the plan is just to feed the GOAT then he is probably a better option than Mavididi.

Fair play today. :appl:

Maybe he's an on-pitch leader of the sort we've lacked of late (even if he did nearly talk himself into a red  )

He is, or was, a decent player, tidy, good performer for Fulham, seems to have a personality and was well liked by the fans.

His signing alongside Ayew is just indicative of the malaise around the club I think, which leads to criticism which is probably a bit OTT.

He’s not an amazing player and seeing him start feels quite underwhelming but I do think he has been given too much criticism.

He has contributed when played such as in RVN’s early games and two assists today. He was free (ok we don’t know details such as sign on fee and wages really) and he seems to be a good character compared to many in the squad.

He did well but he had alot of space today, at home when we need to break a team down neither he nor Ayew have the tools. We desperately need to sign a winger before the window shuts.

I think I was harsh on him for the first half. But second half his game management and goal involvements proved crucial. Worried he was going to talk himself into a 2nd booking at one stage though.

Yeah this is true. We can't use today as an excuse to not get in reinforcements

Warrants keeping his place after that.

For someone so anonymous and playing a bit part, lad does have a knack of getting involved in the goals, think that's 4 assists now this season to go with his goal against Brighton?

Bloody typical - one performance from a player and he’s suddenly flavour of the week and let’s bin off the other guy.

Not saying he didn’t have a good game today - but the extreme swing of comments that go from “why the **** has he picked him” 2-3 hours ago to “has to be starting every week” now is just nauseating.

Can we not just settle at a soft middle ground like; “Bobby had a good game today, would like to see some more, but that Mavididi still has a part to play in our season and can hopefully find some confidence in himself if we start playing better as a team as well.”

What would you do with mavididi, because his work rate was poor against Fulham, as for bdcr, I've never understood the pelters he's got because we've  barely seen him, but he did a better job that stephy has so deserves to keep his place
