Reid shan't be playing RWB he's signed to be competition on both wins arguably will start on the LW more often then Mavididi.

 

Well have a new CM come in and I think Faes leaves if we get Okoli, possibly cooper preferring Coady as well but other than that pretty close.

Much as I love Vardy and believe he can still make a contribution, I'll be pretty concerned if he's our 1st choice striker.

 

I hope we sign a new 1st choice striker, unless one of the other strikers somehow convinces Cooper he can step up.

Neither has convinced yet. Cannon is still young, new and worth persevering with as a squad player, but how much longer does Patson get?

Centre back situation is up for debate.
Think we need six more through the door(Five if Ndidi resigns).

Potentially integrate Braybrooke, Golding and Alves.

Move on Iversen, Souttar, Thomas, Soumare and either Cannon or Daka.

I do worry about whether Ricardo would be able to manage a wing back role now

With KDH gone, Riccy P is by a million miles the best player we have in the team. If we have ANY chance of staying up, we need to get the best out of him.

 

It will be interesting to see how Cooper uses him. As a full-back, wing-back, CDM or as a midfielder higher up the pitch. I would argue that our second best attacking midfielder after KDH wasn't Ndidi, it was Ricardo when he played there!

 

For me it actually doesn't matter where he is in the team, the important thing is that he's in it, probably as captain. He's a class above and we are lucky to have him at Leicester.

Patson is not dissimilar in style to Awonyi at Forest, who Cooper managed to get a good tune out of. In a pure counter attack set up where his job is to exploit the high lines of opposition teams he could be effective. It's when he's asked to do anything technical and play as a link man, as Enzo and Rodgers expected, that the problems start.

Not sure that a Winks/Wilf midfield would give us enough goals and creativity in the centre of the pitch. I guess, though, we'll be sitting deep and Ndidi will be asked to do his old job of protecting the back line, with Winks used as a deep lying playmaker who can ping in a pass behind the oppo's defence for a rapid front 3 to get on to.

We are moving towards a bloated squad again.   If we play 5 at the back, having 6 cbs in the squad isn't out of the question.   We need to recruit in midfield. If Ndidi signs again and O'Hare joins

Huth needs to organise a couple of loans out.  If we are recruiting,   the need to move some on, something we have been so poor at in recent years,  is important.
