Hmmm suggests he’s deemed as someone for the first team potentially rather than rotting in the u21s

He was quoted as saying hopefully he breaks into the first team.

Leicester’s second signing of the Cooper era after the club recruited forward Bobby De Cordova-Reid on a free transfer following his Fulham departure is Chelsea’s Michael Golding, an 18-year-old attacking midfielder who, while in the Dewsbury-Hall mould, should be viewed not as his direct replacement but as one for the future

Anyone else seen his interview on YouTube! He has some very scripted answers to the questions being asked! Doest seem to be a natural conversation!

How can you tell that, though?

Sounds soo robotic!

That might just be how he sounds though. At this point we don’t know what he’s like naturally. It was awkward though, in both videos.

He is a very young chap. I remember when Emile Heskey was interviewed at around the same age and he did OK for himself and our club

It is quite funny isn't it lol but he's only a kid to be fair to him. He seems like a goodun.

Sounded to me like he was trying to remember what he was being told to say! The wa he worded his answers were worded very much like a pr person wrote them! Made sure he got in the words legendry players like jamie vardy and mentioned the king power stadium in another answer as if he was told will make the fans happy! Did not answer like a young lad i would have prefered if he just said I want to be playing regular football and do the best I can for the club!

People commenting on what they see on a day to day basis, in this case a new signing reading a script and then people becoming overly defensive like they're representing the player in a 1990s court drama!

Classic Foxestalk!

Taking a creative midfield player from Chelsea reserves?

Muzzy vibes 😍

If he's even half the player Muzzy is we're on to a winner

He'd have had quite a bit of media training having come through the ranks at Chelsea and playing for England.

I imagine interviews are more of an occupational hazard than an opportunity to express yourself at his age.

Always find it a bit crazy for someone like Golding he’ll have only ever known Leicester be a team competing for trophies & being successful. Fans of a certain age really have been spoilt.

Seems about 12. He's not playing a big part this year.

Yep there is no way, i imagine he is very close to the bulking out years where he is suddenly going to turn into a man then we will see what he can do

Good. Let’s keep it that way.
