On bench today so assume nothing doing on this as no way they risk injury with a week left of window….although probably won’t get on and they also have Ramsdale & fast Eddie on the bench so who knows

Came on for Arsenal at 2-0 up, farewell appearance?

I guess it will depend on who Arsenal sign themselves and whether they need to free up space on their squad registration - and if they do, who they decide to do that with.

Sky saying there are now four clubs in for Reiss Nelson but not saying who. If we're one of them, it's doubtful we'll fight off three other clubs to land him. Unless it's Scunthorpe, Derby and Cov.

He's worked with Cooper before. So that may be a consideration.

Eh?

Ipswich and Southampton signing players all over the place. They're seen as more attractive than us. Every other PL team established in the league. We're bottom of the food chain, unfortunately.

They aren’t seen as more attractive than us.

They are certainly not seen as more attractive then us, but our hands are tied when it comes to splashing the cash as they have because of our past misdemeanors. They're signing players because they can

Take away the PSR failures, even with a points deduction hanging over our heads, as arrogant as it sounds

A) we wouldn't have Cooper in charge

&

B) if we could compete on the same financial level as Ipswich and Southampton, then pretty much every single player they've signed it given the choice, would choose us

If Ipswich stay up, they'll soon find themselves in the same predicament that we find ourselves in. They'll need to pay more wages and higher transfer fees to compete, and find themselves the wrong side of PSR (or hope that someone somewhere realises the current rules just don't work that well) or just continually turn players over to stay in line, which isn't the model for growth.

My mate is a die hard gooner and he said he wouldn’t be good enough to play every week. He’s a squad player who will do ok if and when called on. But not a first choice player

Was he talking about Arsenal or us?
