Pereira dropping into the back 3 on the right hand side so Fatawu can play high and wide is a good use of them both. Allows Pereira to pick passes from deep similar to the inverted role from last season. 
 

Like mentioned by others, the balance of the midfield is atrocious though. No way Soumare and Winks can play together looking at this, they are occupying the same spaces.

Cooper’s midfields in the past have all usually offered good defensive work, during his time at Swansea, Grimes and Fulton ranked quite high for tackles and interceptions per90. 
 

Winks and Soumare won’t give us that, Choudhury isn’t good enough to start regularly, Ndidi is the only one who can give us work like that, yet he isn’t the player he once was. 
 

This current midfield would get killed on transition in the Premier League.

Since the drinks break at about 30 minutes we've looked OK. Controlling the game and making some chances. Had a nice move with JJ playing it to Mavididi in the inside half space channel for the dinked cross to Ndidi. One of Maresca's moves from last season.
