I know. I hear you. Just can’t put Vestergaard in a flat four. He gets battered at Prem level for pace.

Ultimately, we should’ve spent better on a left sided cb than Okoli

Hope he proves me wrong

Oh, and we need a left back!

Get Hlozek & Zaha in and things start to look much better.

 

I'd still expect defeat against Spurs, but they would be 2 great additions for where we are and what we need to achieve.

Hard to see anything other than a battering here tbh. The lightning speed of Rudkin means we have forfeit the first 3-4 games realistically, get anything from them it’ll be a bonus. I’m looking at that Everton game at home or into October for our 1st win, optimistically…

I normally try to be optimistic. But looking at the fixture list I cant see our first win coming until after 26th May ....

That just looks likle a nightmare to play against. Full of pace, power and willing runners with quality in the final 3rd. We might miss a clinical finisher but it'd be fun.

People seem to think he was part of the team that got relegated but he barely featured, granted pace is not on his side but if we sit deeper that shouldn't be too much of an issue

I like Vestergaard.

 

Don't get me wrong, there's much better rounded CB's out there but he actually looks more composed than Faes. I certainly feel more comfortable with him on the ball than I do Faes.

 

I really worry about our LB position currently though. Kristiansen does not fill me with any confidence.

Presuming we get Zaha and Hlozek done in time. Would stick Hlozek straight in as we don’t have any other option. Mavididi and Fatawu deserve to start but if not doing it then Zaha and Buonanotte off the bench. Choudhury over Ndidi as can cover more of the pitch these days and neither can pass a ball anyway. Ideally a new left back/wing back as Kristiansen and Thomas are shite

Choudhury is just not Premier league quality. I can see him as a late sub to see out a game but that's it for me.

Agree… i cant see any other team than this that can  potentially get us something from the game. i think Hlozek and zaha will probably get over the line in next 48/72 hours and only get 1 or 2 training sessions but they have got to start regardless because that lens team will get demolished. 
 

bet of the day will be both teams to score thats for sure 100%.
