Well he wasn't for sale...

In terms of reach, we could hope for a second season on loan! :please:

He wasn't offered for sale, not quite the same thing. Money always talks .

Maybe we had spent our quota by then.

Anyway it doesn't matter, Enjoy him while we can.

He’ll sign for us in the summer if we stay up. Two years later he will join a Liverpool.

Surpassed expectations and then some.

He won’t, if he carries on like this he will go back Brighton or join a big club.

Brighton will sell an asset to keep an asset. Big clubs will want one more season of review.

im very positive after a win.

They won’t sell to a rival unless they severely overpay. I don’t think we’re in position to do that and probably shouldn’t do it.

I was very sceptical about Rutter especially given the feeling we paid for him but he is a cut above FB at present with his physicality and decision making. I'm sure FB will become a better player than Rutter but at the present moment he's still a work in progress

Bounanotte is already better than Rutter. He's been our best player every game this season, it's extraordinary.

3 goals and 2 assists already in a crap team. Rutter's got 2 goals and 1 assist, his end product has always been mediocre, even at Championship level.

Zero chance he signs on a perm for us. None whatsoever. Let’s just enjoy him this year, he is very good. He will go back to Brighton and maybe end up at a huge club the year after.

He is miles better than Ritter . It’s not just his goals and assists but out of possession he really puts it in and his holding play and transitions are great for such a young lad. For someone of his size and age he is also remarkably strong. Even if we pay a small fortune it would be a decent investment as he is only getting better. That said the transfer market isn’t as daft as it was a couple of years ago when Chelsea were going bonkers. Plenty of time to see how it pans out but I’ve seen enough.

Rutter scored a lovely goal against Spurs, then assisted Welbeck’s headed winner with a nice cross a few minutes later. Then he assisted Welbeck’s winner with a nice through ball against Newcastle.

The assist you’re missing, which for some reason doesn’t show on any of the stats sites which I assume you’ve got your info from, is here:

This actually makes his record 2 goals and 2 assists in the last three games, Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle.

His winning assist and winning goal actually mean his goal contributions have directly earned us two wins on the trot.

You know what it is for me. After we got relegated and we sold Maddison, I was certain we wouldn’t see a player carry the ball in tight spaces like that again for a long time. Facundo does it and I’m going to say it, I don’t care, probably better and he’s 19!

He’s top of my vision board. Facundo will be a permanent fox end of this season. Very much in love with him.

Realistically though, we’ve got a very talented player on our hands and if he continues to contribute this year it allows Bilal to develop. And if the plan comes together, we will have a ready made replacement in Bilal (and hopefully be in the PL).

It’s gonna be a sad day when he leaves. Should never fall in love with a player on loan. But when he’s this good it’ll be hard not to.

Even if you count it, he's still got less goals and assists than Facundo in a far better team. He's also supposed to be a striker (more of a link man I know).

Either way he's not better than Bounanotte. I watched a lot of Rutter last season and he's nowt special but you've got a world beater on your hands in Bounanotte.

Rutter will create chances for you guys and is also probably better at dribbling than buonanotte but he will also miss a lot of easy goals like he did at Leeds.

Buonanotte on the other hand seems like a natural finisher and is only going to get better. If you bought Rutter at the expense of Buonanotte I feel like that transfer could end up being one of Brighton's biggest mistakes.

Not a chance that he will come here, Brighton would be fools to sell him, especially as he is still developing/appreciating and anyway, why would he choose us over Brighton?

If, come May, we're still in this division, I think Buonanotte will have played a significant part in that and I will wish him well.

He's the latest off their scouting conveyor belt. MacAllister, Trossard, Caicedo, Cucarella etc....its the thing we used to be good at, find it cheap, win a trophy, sell them high.

He's not staying here unless we're top half, have a ton of cash and Brighton lose their minds.

I know my friend but after Saturday, I’m very much in the land of unicorns and fairies and you know what, I’m going to enjoy it:D

Let’s be logical about this. Your love for LCFC isn’t the thing that would keep him here. Finishing in a European place and above Brighton MIGHT, but obviously virtually impossible this season.

Best attacking player we've had since Mahrez. His engine is superb, he fights for everything, his vision is great, his feet are great, he can shoot, dribble...

Do anything to make this permanent. The way Brighton is run i do think they’d sell if we offered a good fee as he doesn’t fit their system.

Another point, Coopers preference for Prem proven players was uninspiring and boring, but most have hit the ground running and look confident and we needed that.

Compare that to the ‘young and hungry’ approach of the three promoted sides of last season, and the two of this. I do think Cooper has got that right.

Not saying at all that that is the way to go moving forward, we need a balance, but so far it’s worked.
