Think Brighton already recalling and selling in Jan?

Entirely possible. Or might have said they’re recalling because of the change of manager.

It’s probably natural as a manger you’re more interested in the players that are yours, but as he’s been so far above pretty much everyone it’s a surprise he’s barely been seen.

There is one upside - an extra loan place, 2 if we manage to offload Edouard.

Am struggling to understand why Brighton have temporarily moved him.

He's set for an excellent career.

They have 2 or 3 in every position he plays in. He'd get very little game time

It did cross my mind, seemed a bit odd having 2 outstanding games then unavailable for Brighton then gone in a blink 🤔😢😢

Never fall in love with a loan player 😭😭

Don't buy this at allm.aint our problem. He's here until 31 December at least and if Brighton had indicated he's to be recalled,.all the more reason to rinse him (with ofc respect to the lad, who seems a lovely...clearly wouldn't want him unnecessarily hurt through overplaying)

But yup,.if he was played and pulled up injured during normal course of play, Brighton's problem,.not ours.

Looking at the manager's other team.selections and substitutions, far more likely is that the manager simoly isnt qualified for the job..

Was Ruud asked why he has given probably our best player this season less than 40 minutes of football in the last 2 games?

It made even less sense bringing him on as late as he did yesterday as well. The game was dead and there was no point even risking him for the sake of that time.

Nahhhh it was weird he wasn’t brought on at HT.

0-3 all it takes is a goal before the 60-65th minute to create doubt.

Facundo would’ve increased that chance.

I think he’s going back to Brighton and being played or sold and Ruud is just using other options now.

Yeah I'm not sure I buy this idea that Brighton want to recall him.  Firstly, we have to agree to that, they can't just decide they want him.  And if they did and we agreed to it then there's no reason for us to not try and get the absolute most out of him before he goes back.  However.  We have been credited with an interest in Ferguson. We can't sign him on loan because we Facundo.  They don't want to sell Facundo, however they are open to selling Ferguson because he's basically said he wants out to kickstart his career.  It may be that we have said we want him on a loan with obligation should we stay up.  A move that would suit them, Ferguson and possibly us if he does indeed come and help us stay up.

But this is adding 2 and 2 to get 37.

But unless Ruud really doesn't rate him I don't know why he'd let him go back.  The only other reason, and probably the most plausible thinking about it, is he knows we need a new defence and he's going to sacrifice Buo, to go along with Edouard giving us money to buy 2 defenders and spots to bring 2 in on loan.  And so we can't risk him getting injured if Brighton have agreed to take him back.

Ruud would play who is available. Ward will be recalled to the canteen soon and he's being picked, so I don't think "he's going back" would matter - we don't even know if he is going or if Brighton even have that option.

He's either unfit/recovering or Ruud prefers alternative players - I'd lean towards it being tactical. Which is a shame.

He was terrible against West Ham, probably protecting himself

I'd prefer a terrible Buonanotte to Ayew any day of the week!

The commentators mentioned Facundo's fitness/recovery and that he is still nowhere near match-fit.

I can only hope RVN is saving him or didn't risk him so that he can be fresher for Thursday and then Sunday.

I think Ruud feels he needs one option of a direct runner (Mavididi but he's lacking confidence so is barely getting past his man) and feels he needs someone he can trust lol to stay in position on the right because Buonanotte does go wondering, and Ruud benefitted first hand in one the games against Man Utd.

That said the other options are that shit that you might as well play Buonanotte whatever he does.

Current squad is crying out for a manager that can make a back 3 with wingbacks, 2 sitting midfielders and a front 3 of Bilal, Buonanotte and Vardy/Daka work.

Does feel like he’s simply preferring Bilal and doesn’t see space for both.  mind blowing really considering how awful everyone is playing.

id like to see us try the Amorim formation.

                              Vardy

                      Bilal.       Buonnanotte

kristiansen    Winks. Soumare.      New wb

                    New cb.  Vesty.      Okoli
