Maybe sign a right winger, move Facundo to CAM and Bilal to the inside LM position he played in against West Ham.

Problem being Rwer are difficult to find since Mahrez left its taken us 6 years to find a decent one in Fatawu.

His performance yesterday highlights how clueless Cooper was, and the lack of control he had over the team. He was reserved with his press and maintained a position for the game, rather than try to take the world on by himself!

I'm not sure hes as effective playing the drifting in RW role, asking for him to do a lot while our right is already exposed and every PL team knows to attack it.

Presses well and has a goal in him more so than Al Khannouss. He should be playing as the 10 really.

Big news from Percy - Facu is staying at the club (unless I guess he leaves permanently in January)! 😎 He has passed the minimum performance threshold for the club to keep him for the season:

But both clubs could still agree to cancel the loan. Basically, Brighton can’t recall him.

No surprise - Jordan Blackwell also wrote in the Mercury the other day that Buonanotte is ‘going nowhere’. Great news about Edouard going back 👍

He says there is no prospect of him returning to Brighton so looks like a very unlikely scenario.

Not a chance we’d agree to that.

Again it depends if there is a financial payment to aid our January window. Similar to Mads, not necessarily something the club wants to do but they have a window in which (from comments made) the manager believes he will be allowed to make additions, how the club funds that is quite important.

Just to point out, I wouldn’t want that to happen and think it’s not a risk worth taking as having a player who can compete and contribute at this level is better than taking a risk in the hope another does. However, I’m not entirely clear on how this next month will plan out.

This is the key consideration. Why would we risk letting go of a proven performer at this level for someone who we hope will perform? It would be a daft move.

It would be. It would also be a dangerous decision to let Mads go. It would be near on disaster to let two of our very few PL players  leave in January.

The only thing I think would force our hand is if there was a financial reward and the club felt compelled to bring players in which the manager (appears) thinks is possible.

Like I said, I’m not entirely sure how this month will plan out and I am not sure how we spend without something coming back in return. Let’s see. January hasn’t really been a happy window for us for some time.

It would depend on what Brighton are willing to do to sweeten the deal.

If they want to sale him, they would have to convince us to return him.

Can't think of a worse 25/30 mins cameo. Absolutely pathetic. Lost the ball almost every time. Fans would rather cheer Ayew coming off who as crap a signing as he was, has still been a million miles better than Facundo has recently.

Last few games he's been trying to do too much and so he's lost lots of the ball recently... But then again there is nothing ahead of him.

He's really regressed since Nov. Just over plays it time & again. Coughing up possession repeatedly. It's so sad as early season he was our best player. Needs a good coach to put him straight .

Can’t believe fans are writing him off. He doesn’t play left winger.

No he doesn't, he's either played wide right or been given a free role. Overall he's been a good signing and it's frustrating that he's not played more under Ruud, but he has been utterly cack when he has a chance. Today was just embarrassing. Doesn't help that he probably feels under pressure when he does get to play, but he's got to do more than he has been.
