Sublime_Coatsworth Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 He's basically turned out to be exactly the clueless, negative manager we all said he would be. Get rid before its too late. 4
Bilo Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 (edited) We've got a couple of games now before the next international break in early October; one could be an absolute massacre (Arsenal away) and Bournemouth at home, which should be a winnable one under normal circumstances but looks a horrible fixture for us. Anything less than 1-3 points from those games and they HAVE to pull the trigger before we play Southampton at home immediately after the international break before we're cut hopelessly adrift. Do it imminently, and we may just be able to get a good manager in with a plan. Edited 21 September 2024 by Bilo 1
Popular Post Mark Posted 21 September 2024 Popular Post Posted 21 September 2024 He’s excelled himself today. I know he can’t get enough of his experienced pros but he’s gone out of his way to make their pair of Young and Keane look good by leaving Ayew on them all match, even bringing Fatawu on for Mavididi on the other side at the end. Well bottled again Steve 8
dylanlegend Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 Not good enough. trying the hype the crowd up after we equalise in the 75th minite at home to Everton. We should be battering Everton at home Steve, you aint a forest no more Stop setting us up to avoid defeat. And play Ricardo ffs 1
tickler28 Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 This thread a joke? Nobody is getting sacked after 2 draws
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 Took him 90 minutes to bring on Fatawu and then takes of our biggest threat! 3
Popular Post Asha Posted 21 September 2024 Popular Post Posted 21 September 2024 Came from behind against a team desperate to win. It’s a good point! Arrogance to think we’re just gonna win every game. We’re improving and building steadily. Cooper IN 1 4

Get rid before it’s too late. Completely as expected. Steve cooper is delivering exactly what we all knew. And he will still have another 10 games just to be sure he delivers exactly what we all knew. Predictable performance, disgraceful ownership of this football club. 1

If we pull the trigger quickly, the job looks far, far more attractive and there are decent options out there. He needs to go and go imminently. I was thinking exactly this. I'm usually one to give a manager time, but it's not like he came to the club with any credit in the bank. Please, please, please don't have an extortionate dismissal clause. Let's hope he's on probation, like any of us would likely be on in a new job.
Samilktray Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 He's a loser and it's time to go I'm afraid. All the best Steve

Shambles of a club. 1
supernuk Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 We have an uphill task as it is. I'm not usually one for an early exit. But I'd get rid now.
foxfan92 Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 Normally defend the managers when they first come in. So angry I can't even express my feelings properly right now. Just want him gone. 1

The club were probably hoping he'd either be able to scrape 17th and give him a contract extension, or sack him without a crippling payoff if it all went wrong. I doubt he was anywhere near their first choice either. 1

ithuriel Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 If we can get someone lined up, get rid now, what we do not want is a sacking and then a drawn out look for a new manager which is what we seem to do. 1

CrispinLA in Texas Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 P*ssed me off because his signings are championship quality, we're never going to sign anyone decent with him in charge
mod hero Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 Absolutely frightening managerial decisions so far it’s hard to understand. I can’t even be arsed to go into them because it would take so long to type. Baffling bloke 1
Ashley Posted 21 September 2024 Posted 21 September 2024 Can anyone defend him? Ashley Young has had the easiest game of his career today. Get that cvnt gone. 3
