Having already played Fulham, Palace and Everton as well as Bournemouth. Hardly inspiring stuff going forward. Oh and not forgetting the impressive win on penalties against Walsall…… It's been awful but Fulham and Bournemouth are not bad sides and shouldn't be put in the same category as Palace and Everton. Tomorrow will be a tough game. 1

If we’d of showed some sort of attacking threat second half I think we’d of got at least a draw out of it. Instead we didn’t even have a shot on target second half. Pathetic.

VG Fox Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 its pretty clear to me that the club went for cooper cos no one else wanted the job in the circumstances.......now we don't have a points deduction we need to get rid and get someone who understands where the opposition goal is...... won't happen as the board are spineless and TOP seems unable to lead.... very sad considering what Vichai did for the club

It was a weird game because I walked away thinking they didn't get out of second gear to beat us and we didn't offer much of a threat. They were clearly dominant when they beat Newcastle the other week though.

I can't say Potter convinces me personally but I can't really justify that. I think Moyes could be a decent shout and has the experience to turn things round.

Moyes would just be Cooper 2.0 - negative football. Potter would at least give us a definitive style of play, a bit like last season. 2

UniFox21 Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 Him asking the fans to get behind the side already surely just pins how little faith people have in him
Popular Post mod hero Posted 4 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 4 October 2024 I cannot wait for him to leave. It’s inevitable. so far out of his depth it’s untrue. 5

That's my concern with Moyes but he did get West Ham a Euro cup, not sure if this group would be suited to him though 1

Also he's needs players running for him but most times he takes the easy option too often. As it's usually only Vardy as the outlet.

Under Maresca he would have Vardy dropping deep, Dewsbury Hall, Ricardo, Ndidi etc to pass to, now all our other players struggle to find space. It's not just him taking the easy option, the players are no longer in the right position to receive a pass. 1
winteriscoming Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 I think and hope we’ll be forced to look abroad because I can’t see Corberan, Moyes or Potter coming. Much better options abroad.

Pe.Lcfc Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 Even Coopers press conferences are pathetic every time he’s on all he goes on about is the team coming up from the championship and the struggle to transition to the premier league. Is his knowledge that poor of our squad that we literally have 3 players in there that has never played premier league football before. So far out of his depth that it’s always someone else’s fault 2

The Premier League learned their lesson after us and now sanctions are in place to prevent the little guy climbing too high (FFP + VAR) 1

Pliskin Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 I’ve changed my mind, I’m feeling positive…. 2-1 city…….. Until Bournemouth score a 94th minute equaliser, following some stoic defending. 2-2…….
